Perfect replacement for the factory plastic recirculation valve on my ...
Perfect replacement for the factory plastic recirculation valve on my 2017 ST. Very high quality. It’s LOUD and always there. Every shift. Every time you let off the throttle. I think it might get annoying, but time will tell. I cannot take stars off for that, as it’s personal preference. All you do is remove the passenger front wheel, and it’s accessable through the wheel well. Get a couple long extensions and a ball-head 5mm Allen socket. It only took me about 25 minutes to install.I installed this along with a green filter (also purchased on amazon) and they work great together!EDIT:I took this thing off after about a year of sounding like a 38 year old teenager infatuated by the Fast and Furious movies. It’s that loud and annoying. I even ran a true vacuum source to it, and it was still too much.I ended up putting a Mountune BPV on. Now it’s quiet again.

5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!
17' Focus ST here. Okay, so I received my turbosmart blow off valve today and I immediately wanted to install it. I watched a YouTube video first, if you're curious I typed in "blow off valve installation Focus st" and it should be the first one buy the name of 'CJ Pony Parts'. That video was pretty clear and explains everything very well. Installation was a little tricky just because of how far in the stock BPV is located. I've included a picture of the ratchet set I used. (Bag of chips for scale and tape measure) It was a 5mm Allen head socket, 3/8 Drive with a lot of extensions on the end. Using that I was able to get to all the screws. BE PATIENT and take your time because it's definitely tricky. When you get the stock BPV unbolted be careful taking it out because it has 3 parts, the top, the spring in the middle and the bottom, it was simple pulling it out just be careful. Installation took me 40 minutes which I thought was pretty good. Once I had everything tight and the vacuum hose reattached I started it up and was absolutely thrilled with the way it sounds. So much better and it's pretty loud even when you don't really get on it. All in all this is an AMAZING product by turbosmart and if you have a Focus ST I suggest you invest because you will not be disappointed. Thank you for a great product!! Very satisfied.

Noisy, like very noisy! but damn, it makes me smile everytime.
I have to admit. I always wanted to have a car with turbo, being a fast and furious generation that was kind of my dream, however well live happends and I was never able to have a car with turbo until now or kind of. I got a ford escape 2.0T there isn't much to say about the car or the engine, if you push it it makes a small psst. But lets be honest, that is not what we like do we? I wanted the full PSSSSsssttt pstttt and damn I got it.I spent about an hour installing it, it is not difficult, but by sure you will need at least some tools and probably a good lamp. I'm pretty sure I messed up with the spring because I think it releases way to easily, even a very low rpms but that is a different topic. After installing it I went to drive around the block and believe me it really makes people turn they head expecting a 1000hp supra and finding out a cheap suv driven by a guy with a creepy smile.I seriously tough about removing it because of the "attention" it gets but damn, I really like it. Makes my daily commute a more pleasant drive, people will judge you? by sure, do you care?

Easy to install, snappy and LOUD!
The Kompact is the prefect bov to have if you want a loud blowoff on the outside, but a reasonable volume in the cabin.Install took me 30 minutes after watching CJ Pony Parts video on YouTube, the hardest part was getting the screws out due to the angle. I used a pair of needle nose pliers and an Allen wrench to get the bolts out. I did not adjust the spring before I installed it, I’m not too worried and it does not leak.If you roll the windows up and have the blower on, you won’t even hear the blowoff, but it’s extremely loud on the outside of the car. Every time that it went off, people in other cars would quickly turn their heads at mine, so you know it’s loud.Came in the box, brand new with all screws and fittings.Apologies for the awful quality video, Amazon really compressed it.

I still have some fine tuning to do
What a difference these have made on my 2012 F150!My driver side factory BOV was ripped. Now my engine holds boost and always feels beastly!!!I still have some fine tuning to do, I need to soften them up some.PROS:Boost now holdsAdjustableDual Port - Vents to air and vents back to intake.Hill climbs no longer lack power.BOV Sneeze... It's not everybodys thing, but I love it!Install is VERY straightforwardCONS:Fuel Mileage is reduced....... But this is ONLY because I'm having so much fun building boost and letting off the skinny pedal to dump the air :p
