Amazon Basics Floating Cube Shelves - 24-Inch, Espresso, 2-Pack

Gorgeous product, perhaps the best looking floating shelf design you can find, but the keyholes on the back aren't drilled out, which is idiotic. Hanging these would be a snap otherwise, just install two screws in the wall, but being able to drill out the hole evenly is beyond the skill set of many, myself included.Unlike some reviews, mine did come with instructions and the mounting hardware, but the screws are laughably thin based on the weight. Since the keyhole needed drilled out and I didn't trust myself not to mangle it, I just used heavy duty command hanging strips instead. Fingers crossed.Amazon needs to fix the manufacturing of these so the keyholes are open at the factory and the screws need to be a little beefier. Recommended only if you or someone you know is really comfortable using a power drill with precision.

These are fairly complex to install. Just because the brackets are so small on the back, it gives you very little room for error on the length between the screws.

These shelves are very cute! They are pretty light and and cheaply made but I expected that for the price! It's pretty obvious they aren't made of actual wood but they are sturdy while hanging on the wall! Didn't want to spend 50+ dollars on other ones similar so for the price I am satisfied.

The shelves are very pretty but the hardware that they send them with are terrible. We had one screw break and we’ve been to Lowe’s and home depot to try to find a new one and can’t. We will have to go to a specialty store to find it.Installing has been hard too. The brackets on the back of the shelves aren’t even so to get them straight has been a pain. We’re putting up six of them in one place so we need them perfectly level. If you’re only using 2 it might be easier.Don’t get me wrong the price is great and when you have it all done they look amazing! Just know it’s a process to get them done! We have 3 up when all six are up I will take a picture.

Very nice looking. Only problem was that it didn't come with its own mounting hardware. Made it kind of hard to figure out size of screws to use.

Shelves came with one dented and the other one has the finish peeling. Please know that this is not a smooth finish. I think it will be pretty much impossible to clean. It’s kinda like particle board.

Great shelves how ever, make sure you have them on the nails or screws. They can appear to be on your affixing material but they are not and they will come crashing down

Shelves look great and sturdily hold some of my liquor glassware. Install wasn’t the simplest, as it’s not easy to get them on the nails very easily. They get caught on a lip, but once they’re up, as long as they’re studded, they look great and hold quite a lot.

These shelves arrive with an instruction sheet and fixings to fit them to pretty much any wall. They are simple to install - you screw a couple of screws per shelf into the wall at the correct spacing and then simply slip the screw heads into the slots on the rear of the shelf. It only takes a few minutes to do and you end up with a strong shelf with no visible fixings.The shelves are made of glued together sheets of wood and have a natural matt oiled type of finish. They look good and will hold a decent amount of weight. You could easily paint them if you wanted a different finish.Overall these shelves were easy to fit, look good and hold a decent amount of stuff. Recommended.

Nice set of 2 floating shelves. Arrived securely packed with instruction manual and mounting kit.The shelves were easy to mount, especially that I put them on the wooden wall.They are made from very light natural wood.Each shelf is approx. 63.5cm long.Because they are made from wood I found many places with filler to cover imperfections, but it is not applied nicely and does not look good. One shelf is fine the other one visually does not look nice as have many places with wood filler not applied properly.However it is not very visible from the distance.Overall great shelves but the quality could be better.

These are a great set of 2 chunky pyramid oblong shelves in a dark wood effect. The shelves themselves are very lightweight and hollow and feature 2 picture hook type fixings on the back for hanging invisibly so that they 'float' and are super easy to fix to the wall.I really like the style of these, they look modern and are a decent width and length to hold books, DVD's and more. The surface is very smooth and is a plastic feeling wood effect. They look good either together or separately and I much prefer these to my older shelves with visible brackets. Recommended if you're looking for a modern looking quirky shelf!

I have put these up in my newly fitted kitchen - we have a sort of contemporary country vibe and the unpainted. slightly rustic/industrial finish to the shelves fit in very well. I have used them to display a few cookery books and kitchen knick-knacks. The wood is quite thin and light so I didn't want to overload the shelves - there was no information about the maximum load so I have erred on the side of caution. The shelves are already assembled so all you have to do is to hang them. The fixings supplied were fine for our walls but you might need to buy alternatives if you have stud walls.

These shelves in Espresso fit perfectly in my son's bedroom. They share a room and now have a shelf each. My eldest uses it for his deodorant collection and the other for games and books. The shelves attach to the wall easy by using a drill and comes with everything needed. Strong and sturdy and measure 25 inches each. Never had shelves in this design before, very different to the standard flat shelf as it's quite bulky. Easy to wipe clean when dusty but it does have some white blemishes on the front of 1 shelf. Can't comment on the value as there's no rrp.
