This is NOT privacy film - perhaps my fault that I did not fully read the description? Either way, if looking for full privacy (e.g., so people outside your home cannot see you nude in your bedroom), this is not the item for you. However, if looking for something that will make the people in your home look blurry from the outside while having something that is beautiful on the window (it reflects the light in a thousand rainbow colors...makes it look like crystal), then this is a good product for you. I think it would be good for "moderate" privacy, and ONLY for rooms wherein you expect to be fully clothed or not doing something you don't want your neighbors seeing you do (e.g., bathroom activities, etc).

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! My apartment faces a shared courtyard and the building behind me has a rooftop deck that basically faces directly into my bedroom window. I like to keep my blinds open to let the sunlight in, but wanted some privacy from prying eyes. I bought the MOSAIC pattern and it was exactly what I was looking for.Good quality, durable material. Putting up the window cling was so simple. Just spray water, slap it on and brush out the bubbles. Cutting a straight line was the hardest part – If you have a long ruler and X-acto/razor, you’re fine. Added bonus – when the light shines through, it creates a beautiful rainbow effect that shimmers on the walls of my apartment!

There are two types of products sold on this page. One that has an adhesive and one that does not. I purchased the small square mosaic pattern and this does not have an adhesive. Even after following all instructions I could not get this to stick to the window. The edges kept curling and it kept falling off. Because I was using this in a basement bathroom window that is very small I ended up using double sided tape in the corners to keep it from falling off. If it had been for the main floor I would have thrown it away.

I bought this to cover the small window in my bathroom. I have a 1950's era house with one of those small windows built into the shower/tub wall.Thoroughly clean your window before applying. I used 91% alcohol and an old undershirt. Then, get a spray bottle and mix some dish soap and water. After you have measured and cut your section to size, spray the window down. Then peel off the backing sheet and apply to the window. Using an old Credit Card or a hard squeegie...push all the air bubbles to the edges.This stuff is super easy to work with (much easier than home window tint) and it looks great. Its like a wall of tiny glass bricks and the sunlight has a prism effect when it shines through.

The application of the window film was very simple & easy to apply. I would suggest cutting the film to the exact size so that you don't have to trim off any edges. I would recommend purchasing the Window Film Application Kit too. I did not want to completely block the sun from shining in. My purpose was to use the film to create some privacy from people being able to see into my home, in which I think this design was perfect for.

I put this on my screen door and on a few windows in my house. It does create a decent amount of privacy. I really like this product.

It works wonderfully as a privacy barrier on windows. To boot, in the morning when the sun hits it, it creates such an awesome color spectrum. Easy to install. Soap and water in a spray bottle. Spray, apply, done.

This item was a breeze to cut and install. The shower in my rental has a window that I wanted to cover without curtains and this has been the perfect solution.
