GREAT REPLACEMENT VERY BRIGHT

You don't realize how bright 1200 Lumens is until you're staring at these in the daylight realizing that they're actually a little painful to look at directly. I've used them to replace my daylight running lights and they have no issue being noticed. After using them for several months now, I think these will be long lasting like the other LED bulbs I've installed in the vehicle. They run cool to the touch which is a good sign.One down side is the low current draw means they they'll likely trigger the blown bulb indicators in your vehicle if you have one. You can install resistors in parallel with the bulb and that will resolve the problem. I installed these in my Craftsman lawn tractor. Unfortunately, only one worked. When I removed the non-working one, the base came away from the bulb. I had to add some wire to the positive connection and re-solder it the base. Now it works.The lights are brighter than the incandescent bulbs they replaced, by far. And really, that's what I was looking for. If the one bulb had not been defective, I would have given five stars. As it was, it took only about five minutes for me to fix the issue, so not too bad.My wife asked why I need brighter bulbs in the lawn tractor when I never cut the grass at night. She just doesn't get it.

I have a large, quad slide, 5th wheel trailer that has two large clear lights up 12 feet high on either side of the main body to light both sides when parked. The lamps in there were pathetic sparrow fart lights that did not work at throwing any light out at all. I bought these to try. Wow, what a difference. They last about 3 years in my 5 er trailer before they eventually fail. I’m on my 3 rd set. I will not buy anything else.
