I was looking for a fly swatter and found one similar to a very effective model I had owned for years. Still, I didn't want to buy it again because it required large batteries. I don't recall whether it took three or four, and the hassle of constantly buying replacements was a lot. I kept looking and, fortunately, found this WBM SMART 2-in-1 electric fly swatter: a trap lamp and a racket in one. It is USB-rechargeable, features a powerful high-voltage grid, and has a 3-layer safety mesh (safe to the touch). I have it at home now. I opened the box: it comes with the fly swatter racket, the charger, and the USB-C cable. It's perfect; I no longer need to worry about buying expensive, large batteries. I charged it for a few hours until it reached 100%, and it was ready to use. I followed the manual's instructions, and it really is very easy and practical to use. What I love is the innovative design; it combines a fly swatter racket with an insect-killing lamp. It offers hands-free operation. I place it on the base and switch it to lamp mode. It uses purple LED lights to attract and kill mosquitoes, which is brilliant. I leave it on all night in the dark; I watch as it attracts mosquitoes and traps them. The fly swatter has already passed the test, zapping the first few flies. In fact, I held one against the grid for a few seconds; there was a smell of burning, and the fly was left charred like a piece of coal. In short, I am very satisfied with this innovative fly swatter and insect-killing lamp. I appreciate the quality of the materials and the ease of use. The charge lasts for several days, and I love the hands-free mode and the fact that no battery changes are required. The high-voltage power of the single-layer grid is impressive. I use it in the kitchen, bathroom, patio, or living room; it has met all my expectations regarding quality, design, and value for money.

My husband absolutely loves this thing we bought the cheaper versions, but they stopped working within weeks. This thing is great. We had a wasp nest in the front of our house and I put this on it and killed nine wasps at once. I highly recommend these. They do give quite the zap! I also liked that they are rechargeable and you can keep them in the charger turned on and bugs actually fly right into them. There's a light that attracts them.

I highly recommend it! It is so effective! I don’t even have to be in the room and I can just leave it standing there in its holder and it can attract even the tiniest gnat. If you hate flies and gnats or anything, that flies really, you have to get this. I recommended to all my friends. I love that it’s rechargeable and I leave it in the kitchen all set up before I go to bed and sometimes I hear a little gnat popping from upstairs. Incredible.

I just ordered this racket for the 3rd time in 5 years because I always seem to misplace the charging base when I move & one of the charging bases quit working after 2 years. My only real complaint about this zapper is that my dogs are terrified of the noise it makes & now they’re afraid of the racket in general. They freak out & disappear under the bed the second I pull it out. I currently have a fly buzzing around my kitchen & driving me insane. I have turned off the lights, turned on the zapper, & I’m currently standing in the dark, writing this review, waiting for my victim to land on the racket.

Bought several types and this one is my favorite. Used for one summer so far, so short term review versus long term. Item is built sturdier than others. Others, black ones, that look like this and have no LED, which is probably unnecessary for the most part if you keep it on the charger, is just as good. Lithium battery is important. Used to kill mosquitoes, flies, wasps, fruit flies spiders, (all sorts of insects) so far and it does EXCELLENT. If have a lot of pests, buy a pair if available to get reduced price because you'll want that. Leaving on at night does not attract mosquitos but will attract "some" fruit flies, don't expect too much. It works really good in terms of voltage. Sometimes flies can take a hit and fly again, but only on occasion. Still, it is great and does as expected safely. No clean up of bug internals afterwards.

I purchased this electric bug zapper and had it on for 3 days and 3 nights and not one flying bug has been zapped.

Just have to let customers and the market know that after my purchase four years ago, this bat which is well used in the summer here in the Northeast is still catching the fruit flies, mosquitoes, moths that I find in my house. It rarely needs charging as a bat (don't use as a sitting device). In India, I used to use these for the mosquitos, and the quality difference is immense. Those (which were cheap) lasted a few months, while this is still going strong after four years.

This item killed mosquitoes easily. I can enjoy my backyard again.
