DERMA E Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Face Scrub, Revitalizes & Renews 2 Oz

I am a regular user of Paula's Choice skin care products; however, that line does not have any type of scrub. So, I have been on the search for a scrub. After trying a few different ones, I have finally found the perfect one for me. My goal was to find a micro fine scrub that has almost a pumice stone texture to it, & one that does not produce any type of lather, silky liquid, etc. I just wanted a gritty substance to polish my skin, and this scrub fits that description exactly. Plus, the lemony scent is heavenly. Some people are under the impression that a facial scrub is the same as a cleanser, but they are two separate things. The purpose of a scrub is to slough off dead skin cells adhering to the surface of the skin. A scrub like this one acts almost like a microdermabrasion treatment one may have at a spa, which also acts to smooth the pores and ultimately 'refine' the texture of the skin. Conversely, the purpose of a cleanser is to wash/clean away dirt and oils from the skin and pores. TO USE: because the texture is so micro fine, only a pea-sized amount is needed for the face. I use it in the shower with only damp hands. I lightly rub in large circles on my face for about 1 minute, and then rinse. And again, because this is such a micro fine scrub, I would not recommend using more than three times per week, otherwise you risk damaging your skin. And, rub lightly - the scrub will do it's job perfectly! When I was out of the shower, my skin had a significantly smoother texture; it looked and felt great. I have not found this scrub to be drying whatsoever when used alongside of other facial products afterward. This scrub will also double as a great foot scrub. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this scrub! I am a 36 year old female and I am prone to acne breakouts including monthly cystic acne from hormone fluctuations as well as black heads and whiteheads due to clogged pores. Over the years I have used everything imaginable to lessen my acne breakouts and improve the tone and texture of my skin. Recently I even jumped on the Konjac sponge wagon and it did absolutely nothing to improve the texture or tone of my skin. The only thing that has worked thus far is this amazing dead sea salt scrub. This scrub has vastly improved the texture and tone of my skin. I usually wash my skin every morning in the shower, then after moisturizing I apply my makeup. But my skin tends to look flaky and dry after applying my foundation. Since using this scrub every morning in the shower, my makeup goes on smooth and my face has an incredible glow and looks so healthy. No more flaky, dry skin. It is recommended to use this scrub 2-3 times per week but because my skin has a tendency to be oily I use this scrub each morning daily and I have had no negative reactions or drying out of the skin as a result. A little goes a long way. With daily use for approximately 2 months, I not quite half way through the jar. I project this one 2 oz. jar will last me approximately 5 months. That is an amazing price considering how much a salon microdermabrasion treatment costs! In summary, if you are prone to breakouts and you want improved texture and tone to your skin… buy this scrub!

I love Derma E products in general. I just tried this one and it is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It really does exfoliate and scrub gently, not like the products with silicone beads or crushed apricot seeds. It’s just right!

I am 79 years old and really don't have a lot of wrinkles, but have recently noticed the pores on my face looked enlarged even though I wash my face twice a day with a moisturizing facial cleaner. I decided to try this facial scrub because of the many positive reviews, and I am so glad that I did. After washing my face with my usual cleaner, I apply this facial scrub and massage it onto my face in a circular motion for at least 1 minute as suggested in the instructions. Then I rinse my face and pat dry. I have been doing this twice a week, and have noticed a difference after the first couple of times I used it. My face looks smoother, healthier, and the enlarged pores are going away. I also like the subtle smell of this cleanser. It actually feels relaxing. This facial scrub has become a permanent product in the care of my facial skin and I would highly recommend it. I hope this review was helpful for you.

I first became acquainted with Derma E products a few years ago, during Covid and my "beauty influencer era" on Instagram lol. Derma E was very popular with many content creators and I am intrigued by their gentle and effective formulas and cruelty free, vegan promises. I have oily combination skin, and many of their products work well for me, including this one. When I'm using it regularly (1-2x/week), in conjunction with an effective skincare routine, I notice the microdermabrasion properties of this scrub work to make my daily skincare routine more effective, buy buffing away impurities and dead skin cells, improving my skins overall texture, and detoxing my pores with the kaolin clay. I much prefer the dead sea salt that is used in this scrub to exfoliate, instead of walnut shells and other, potentially harsh exfoliates. The dead sea salt has a texture very similar to diamond dust, and they overall consistency of the scrub is a creamy, fine milled, somewhat gritty scrub. While you massage the product on clean, wet skin, the dead sea salt seemingly melts as it exfoliates, and the citrus oil blend along with sweet almond, grape seed and jojoba seed oils leave nourishing properties behind to help sooth your skin. The result is exfoliated skin that is glowy, without feeling dry. I purchase a jar once every 2-3 months, and I often give these as gifts to the women in my family. This products is marketed towards people with uneven texture, dull complexions, and wrinkles. It has a light, spa like scent, and is essentially a spa-grade product you can use from home. If you're looking for an exfoliate to add to your skin care routine, I would recommend you give this one a try. It works well with many different skin types, and is quite affordable when you can catch it on sale, or buy it on subscription, like I do, for under $20/jar.

I have used it once and very pleased so far. I am looking forward to working my way through this jar and waiting for results!

Wow- this is excellent. I have had a hard time finding the right micro dermabrasion product and previously paid twice the cost of this product. I love it - smooth, light pleasant smell and washes off clean.

I recently began using only natural and organic products on my skin. My skin is oily/combination. I've never really had issues with acne, but when I stopped using harsh chemicals, my skin must've gone into detox mode, because for about 3 months my face was a pimple farm (especially on my cheeks and chin). It was devastating to say the least, but I did not want to turn back to those terrible chemicals; however, no other natural product seemed to help (including MyChelle acne products). I came across this product while shopping at a natural food store. I'd heard good things about microdermabrasion, and the beauty attendant at the store (who had incredible skin) swore by it. She too said she suffered with skin-detox pimples after switching to natural lines and said this product was the only thing that worked. I found it cheaper at Amazon.com. Well, 5 weeks later, my skin is completely clear, minus a couple of dark spots from the old break out, but those are fading now too! Also, my skin is smoother, softer, and vibrant looking. I actually had a waitress ask me how I got such a beautiful glow to my skin... that it looked so fresh and "dewy". :-D I tell all my friends about it now. I'm not sure it's for everyone, especially if you have very sensitive skin, as this product basically scrapes the old dermis completely off. Also, I would recommend doing it only at night, as it can cause temporary redness. Bonus: the skin recovers as you sleep, so you look extra fresh the next morning.

Bestes Gesichtspeeling für Zuhause. Geruch ist auch gut. Habe ich schon sehr vielen weiterempfohlen. Der Preis ist definitiv gerechtfertigt. Die Haut ist nach der Behandlung sehr stark gereinigt und fühlt sich wie nach einer Kosmetikbehandlung an. Ich habe Mischhaut trocken mit leichter Akne.

Lovely product. Very fine, gentle but effective sea salt microgranules in a fantastic sweet citrus smelling paste (reminiscent of limoncello). I was concerned the sea salt would be harsh, but not so. A little goes a long way and the scent makes it feel incredibly luxurious. Best exfoliator I've found in years.
