Have a DIY pond and DIY filter. Used the filter sheets and bio balls to replace older materials. The pond is very clear (can see the bottom) and fish are happy.

LOTS of balls! I actually took half out. Totally catches algae. I rinse them periodically . Put them in my waterfall container. Helps a LOT. Worth the $$

Worked 100 times better than lava rock, Its worth the money if you want clear water in your pond. before and after pics

It's a big bag. Great for adding surface area for bacteria. Placed the bag in my Biosteps filter, hopefully helps prevent crashes. Great quality. Better than the cheap Chinese stuff. Initially thought it was expensive but now I think you get what you pay for. Worth it
