Flex Seal Liquid Rubber in a Can, 1-gal, Gray

Here is my updated review of FLEX SEAL GALLON GREY product I 1hammer1 am changing my negative review of FLEX SEAL Liquid 128-fl oz Gray Dip Rubberized Coating. The SAME day that I published my negative review of this product THE FLEX SEAL COMPANY called me at home and offered a solution to my problem with the grey color WOW they wasted no time they have made me more than happy ( WHAT A GREAT COMPANY ) I have always liked their products the FLEX SEAL Liquid 128-fl oz Gray Dip Rubberized Coating is a great water proofer we have had water in our basement when it rained hard. We have done our whole basement walls and floors with this product this product will and does stand up to hydrostatic water pressure if it is applied in 2 to 3 coats, BUT we were told it probably would not stand up to normal foot traffic in our basement (NOT TRUE) we have scooted and pushed and walked all over the floor no problem unless you really scape hard on the floor but you have to apply this product properly clean the surface have no loose stuff and dry and apply 2 to 3 coats let dry well 2 to 3 days between coats also ventilate the area well. We had basement waterproofing estimates between $30,000.00 and $42,000.00 this product cost near $100.00 per gallon and we purchased 29 gallons from 1 source and 8 gallons from another source total =37 gallons est. cost $3,700.00 ( WOW BIG DIFFERANCE ) My wife and I are 80 years old and we did all the work by our self's we just took our time also after the 1st coat you do not have to wait till it is not raining to appy more coats because it stops the water from coming in, apply more coats for stronger protection and longevity I truly do recommend this product and truly recommend the FLEX SEAL COMPANY and special thanks to Ashanti Mckissic Customer Care Manager Swift Response, LLC for their super fast response to our grey color problem again thank you FLEX SEAL P.S. There is no consistency of color sad.

Best product for my Patio Metal Awning which leaks after 5 years of installing from the installer using cheap outdoor caulking which cracked. I have had this on for 3 years and no signs of cracking. I used 1 gallon for each patio and put 3-4 coats on with 24hours in between. I used the cheaper Amazon Water Sealer version previously and it leak after 1 year.

Product was well packaged. once open, FlexSeal was dry, cured and hardened, was not usable, was not able to contact anyone, Amazon or the seller about being able to return a defective product. do not buy. buy local, at least you can return it, if something is wrong. I am amending my first review that was written out of frustration! the return process for this product is not standard and not done through amazon and is not as easy to navigate. The return/complaint must be done through the seller and therefore you have to figure out how to do that. once that was completed, I have to say that FlexSeal went way beyond what was necessary to satisfy the customer. They replaced the original defective product and added additional product in the shipment. In addition, i got an email from the company saying they were sorry for the inconvenience and gave me a refund on top of what they already did to correct the issue. above and beyond compared to most companies. I felt compelled to make the correction and a little bit like a jerk for my initial reaction.

Was hard to find this color but I kept looking till I found this. The shipping was so so and the can was popped open on delivery as it was packaged incorrectly. This was not a shipping transport issue. This was packaged upside down. It's amazing more product was not lost. I had a pretty smallish project so used what was left. The product itself is absolutely amazing. Has held up in the sun all year round in our bulkhead. Looks amazing and helped waterproof the seems. Very very happy with this product
