Works well
Put new vanes and on all my arrows works well and places them evenly just make sure the arrow stays all the way down in the notch because the pressure can slide the arrow forward causing 1 vane to be farther back

Lack of ingenuity
Really get what you pay for here. The Helix does not clamp easily on jig to mount fetching making the flecthings difficult to mount evenly. Arrow does not stay in place while installing fetching.

Not the best choice for beginners
I am new to fletching arrows and this is my first jig. Its great but there are a couple of things that make it not very user friendly.1. the vanes will fall out of the jig when trying to place the holder down on the shaft because in order to position it you have to spread the plastic a bit which causes the vane to drop and can fall in a bad position. This is annoying because you have to pull the vane off, clean glue, clean shaft and start over. This happens almost every time.2. The nock does not securely clip into the jig so after turning it to the next position is can move slightly causing the placement of the next vane to be off by a more than acceptable amount. In all it is well made and simple to use but design flaws make it more difficult than it should be. If you hold the vane in the jig while placing the holder down on the shaft, not easy to do, you can avoid it falling on the shaft in a bad position. Also if you hold the arrow in place while rotating the jig to the next position it will keep it from slipping forward.Took me about 5-6 arrows to get the work arounds down but after that was able to fletch perfectly.

Not bad for the money
If your not wanting to spend alot of money this is the way to go. After doing one arrow I ended up have to add a couple pieces so the vanes would be exactly where I wanted them but for the money can't beat it

Missing the Release Tape
The "Release Tape" is essential and did not come with this jig. The jig also had dried glue on it because it was used without the release tape and returned then sold to me 'as new'.....I took the time to clean up all the glue on the jig but still need the release tape.Regards, Mark

Gets the job done well
It consistently applies vanes/fletching to the arrow shafts without any issues or getting stuck. I did a batch of about 48 arrows, giving it 4 minutes per vane to dry, which took almost all day. Each arrow shot perfectly. Definitely buy extra metal adhesive tape and a spare black clamp, as when you're done, the glue tends to get between the tape and clamp, and harden into a bulge that prevents a second use. This wasn't unexpected given the volume of arrows being glued.

Awesome!!!!!!!
This jig is awesome! As long as you don't mind waiting a few minutes in between vanes. I have a Hoyt Spyder 30, coupled with a SABO Sight 2nd Gen, and the Helix blazers I was able to tube 2 (4 arrows) at 40 yards. I'm happy to say the least. Also a word of advice make sure the arrow is seated correctly before you attach the next vane cause the arrow will move on you.
