Is this made in Germany?

Made in CHINA, I tried using them to cut my flagpole cord and they wouldn't even do that.....stay away!

Do these do well with copper? I'm looking to make cuts on 14 gauge soft copper without chipping tools.

These cuts on 14 gauge soft copper very well

Can I cut a chain link on a cyclone fence with this tool?

they probably would but you would need very strong hands. I reccomend 12-18" bolt cutters if you have more than a few cuts to make

Are these made in USA?

Thank you for choosing Irwin tools. Our goal is to provide the highest quality service. These pliers are manufactured in China.
