Audiopipe 3 Way Crossover CRX-303 300 Watts Passive Crossover Car Audio 4 Ohm

Well built, look fantastic, my only complaint stems from a misdoing of my own. These crossovers are meant for 4 ohm speakers. If you put a speaker that is anything but 4 ohms, it pops and crackles beyond a certain voltage. I bought these to split up the full range signal from my Nobsound 2.0 2 channel amplifier that I use on my computer. I have tweeters, mids, and subs for it, and when they're all hooked up to the amp straight, giving each a full range signal, (tweeters have bass blockers) it sounds amazing until it's cranked to full blast (before the distortion point of the amplifier) at which point I begin to hear fuzziness from my mids trying to play bass, which the speakers do not even attempt to do, instead getting really fuzzy on bass notes. Anywho.... Back to the point. My tweeters are 4 Ohm, my mids are 8 ohm, and my subs are 6 ohms. Needless to say this created problems when I hooked them all up to the crossover. The mids sounded like garbage at even a low-decent listening volume. When cranked to proper listening volume everything sounded like garbage, completely unacceptably bad. Before I decided to get disappointed with my new crossovers, I decided to do some testing. I unhooked everything from the amplifier and test-rigged the crossovers with a JL JX400/4D amplifier and some 4 ohm 2015 stock Impala speakers and a 4 ohm SSL 12" sub and everything sounded beautiful all the way cranked up. These crossovers rock!! Highly recommended. They're really huge, perhaps only a problem if you plan on hiding them. I myself plan on installing LEDs in them and putting them on display in a friends car, wired up and fired up to some extra rear deck speakers.

Purchased to use on a new car build. We will have 2 3 way components in the rear and 2 2 way components up front. These do a great job splitting the high mid and low ranges. Just hook then up correctly and enjoy. Put them into a shipping box to test and they sound very good. Strong lows, powerful mids and clear highs. Of course the quality of the audio being pushed into them make the greatest diffrence. If listening to high quality tracks they sound clear and strong. If listening to radio or distorted content, it sounds poor. We listen to hd radio and hugh quality bluetooth streaming and have not heard any negative feedback or distortions.

received two, one was in an unopened package, the other was not. the one that came in an open package was missing the four screws that hold the transparent cover over the electronics/housing. the unit in the unopened package had its four screws in place. I robbed two screws from it and applied them to the unit that was missing all its screws. I will say that the sound of my speaker box project was notably better after adding the crossover. it's not small and quite hefty. no complaints about the guts and build quality.

The blister pack shown in the ad picture gives no indication of the frequencies this crossover uses. I dug up pictures on Google which listed them as 20-500hz, 500-3000 hz, and 3000 to 20Khz. The package I received was a cardboard box, and listed the crossover points as 20-5600 hz, 700-4000 hz, and 5000-20Khz. Using a small closed box with a 4" full-range driver, I believe the box is marked correctly. I only hope that the giant overlap in midrange and woofer frequencies was done purposefully because the woofer is so far off axis in my car.

I thought it wasn't all that good at first but that's cause I was hooking it to an amp. I hooked two of these up to the front speaker setup on the head unit and they did and sound exactly what I wanted. Can't over kill the crossovers, you have to under power them like somewhere around 100-300 watts max for an all in total load.

great for price, didnt solve problem, but did improve sound quality after replacing problem speakers. Finally opened product. Broken. Contacted Amazon customer service for exchange. Was told refund is only option.

After trying several crossovers for my Cerwin Vega component speakers I decided to give these a try. Simply put, it was like lifting curtains off from the speakers. All frequencies are crystal clear, especially compared to the OL 3-Way frequency divider (4-8Ohms) which was complete trash. The components used are of good quality and that is evident from the sound reproduction.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I purchased this item a month ago, i mounted, And used it for couple of times and BOOOM, it damaged my 8” woofer.Everything sound horrible . I disconnected tested the rest of the speakers and the sound is perfect. Except my brand new woofer. Then i did an isolation test connecting each speaker to the crossover and they sound as bad as it can sound. I removed the crossover and the sound is excellent. I cant recomend this device.

Wired two 8ohm goldwood sound tweeters in parallel to augment into 4ohms paired with a 120w 4ohm goldwood sound midrange and a 180w 4ohm 6 1/2 inch goldwood sound woofer. Sounds incredible in conjunction with the crossover.

This product is very good and suouds quility are very smoothly..... i am satisfied this product
