I'm impressed at how well this ring has held up over the past 8 years. I keep it in drawer full of costume jewelry and it hasn't caused the metal to discolor.As for the look of the ring it's very pretty. The center stone is a very pale, dilute green and not a color I've ever had before (and I own a TON of jewelry, both real and costume.)The stones that form a halo are also very pretty. The setting for those and the band have held up fine. I've seen others comment that their bands have bent but mine seems fairly sturdy.If you're looking for something a little different then this is perfect. The green stone really sets it apart.

I ordered this ring on Friday and it was delivered by UPS on Monday, President's Day! I AM SOO IMPRESSED!! This is a beautiful ring and I cannot get over the $25.00 price tag. When they catch on to what they've got here I'm sure the price will go up!First, the ring is very true to size. I ordered a size 8 thinking it may run small, but I wear 7 on one hand and 71/4 on the other. It's a tad loose on my larger hand but I wanted it that way to wear try it as an index finger ring. That was what sold me. It looks marvelous as an index ring! I'm not joking. The stone is a beautiful pale green color with lots of sparkle and the small CZ's surrounding each side help to delicately frame the centerpiece amethyst! I'm going to send in a few pics, tried to get the light just right on it using a Galaxy S3 camera but it still doesn't quite do it justice, but you can see how much it sparkles from even these. Excellent jewelry store quality for sure!! AS I was saying, they should be charging about $100 or close to it, so this is a HUGE steal! It's a solid feeling ring, and fits superbly on my index finger..its new home!! If you're looking for a beautiful looking gemstone ring and want quality at a great price, STOP looking , because you've found it!! Anything else near this price range would be dime-store jewelry. Even though it's sterling silver, this is definitely in the finer jewelry category.

This ring is just what I've been looking for! The picture was true as to color and tone. The fit was right, not "off" as some online jewelry is. The price was very reasonable for the look, and it would make a nice gift! But I'm keeping this one!

My parents have always been big on fine jewelry so I am critical when it comes.tonthe stones I wear. This ring happens to be the first one I have actually bought, which filled me with pride to say that I paid for it, not my parents!!There is a little deception going on in the photo; what I would assume to be dodging to make the ring look shinier than reality. My center stone isn't as clear as the one pictured, either. Also, the metal is flimsy. As I was hastily trying to pull the tag off, it bent it! I was able to reshape it, however.This ring is still very pretty, and I enjoy having it in my collection. The color of the center stone is a very pretty jade green, and the cut is nicer than I was expecting. It came a day early, in a high quality shipping envelope and cute jewelry box.In the end, I only paid $25 for this and would definitely do it again.I will update this review if I come across any other problems.

I had read the reviews prior to purchasing and knew that the stone wouldn't be quite as green. I didn't realize the stone would be more like CZ and practically clear; the green really is almost non-existent,and in fact, I had forgotten that it was supposed to have any color at all until I went to review it.I still think it's lovely and cute. I like the cut and it shines beautifully. It doesn't quite achieve the look of expensiveness that I was hoping for, but it's still a nice everyday ring that I don't have to worry about losing.UPDATE:I recently became engaged, and while waiting for repairs to the ring, I wore this and so many people thought it was my actual engagement ring. It really is very beautiful. Furthermore, unlike a lot of my other jewelry, simply washing my hands with soap and water cleans this right up to a gorgeous shine.

I bought this ring with the expectation that it might not be very green and it might not be really clear. I was prepared for anything! It is a very light green, and I love it! It isn't emerald by any stretch of the imagination. It is a light lime... almost as if you had made ice cubes from fresh limeade. All of the surrounding clear stones seem nestled securely in the setting. Green amethyst is a quartz stone. A geologist would tell you that this gem stone is more properly called greened amethyst or prasiolite (sometimes spelled praziolite). It is also known as Green Quartz or (incorrectly) called lime citrine. Less common names are Vermarine and Amagreen. Like any naturally occurring stone, there will be differences in the color saturation. This ring is on the lighter end of the spectrum. If you do a Google Image search for "Green Amethyst", you will see how much this stone can vary in color. If you are cool with that, then buy the ring! I love mine, and I hope you do, too!

I saw the picture and had to have this ring. It looked all shiney and pretty in the picture....and green. When I got my ring the first thing I noticed was that the green was barely there. The stone looks like a cheap fake diamond with bad color. It isnt really green. The ring itself is very pretty and looks like its well worth the price. It just needs a prettier stone. It is not like the picture for sure.After posting this I cleaned the ring with a toothbrush even though it was new and shouldnt have needed cleaning. The stone was very pretty for a while after cleaning but if I wash my hands with the ring on and use soap, it clouds up again. Still it is pretty when clean so I am upgrading its rating to "I like it."
