I just took this running with me this morning and it's perfect. Totally forgot it was there. It was so small and light and easy to carry, but I felt so much safer having it.

i havent tested this on a live living animal.* and hopefully wont have to. the spray stream is adequate and sprays quite thickly, i would hate to be on the receiving end of this.i like the runners hand strap, it helps to keep a nice grip on it.*the turn and lock button spigot doesn't activate as quickly and efficiently as i want it to, i had to press considerably hard to activate it.the price was great, under 10 dollars.Update.I used this one time on a large sized dog. it quickly turned away , rolled it head in the grass. that diffused the situation with the least amount of force. the product worked as intended.the hand strap.. i was really liking it for awhile, its somewhat comfortable in the hand. but the handstrap is flawed. its made of cheap nylon, the bottom part of it broke. the way the handstrap is set up is not Ambidextrous. you have to adjust the nozzle spray direction if you change hands.. that is a huge inconvenience. i don't have time to fidget around with the product. i need it ready to go in 1 second.I dont think i would buy this product again.. i might try a different product with an improved grip. and also the fast flip top feature.i'm going to decrease the rating 1 star. its a fine product, but the spray performance, usability in the dark, the grip, and other features need a big improvement.

This pepper gel spray is a must have for women who move out and about alone. One prays that you never have to use it but it's great to have in the event you do. I read a review from an elderly gentleman who complained about there being no directions or legal statement about use of this prioduct, and he had no computer to read the PDF they sent him. If he reads this review, this may help somewhat. In ANY state, and especially New York, it is important to know your standing regarding self defense. This product qualifies as a non lethal form of defense, but use it ONLY when you need to stop an imminent violent threat. Gel is the best close in type of capsicum spray because it won't affect you in windy conditions, innocent people nearby. Merely, twist the red tab on top to disengage the safety, press the tab, and saturate the attackers eye and nose area. The gel has an orange color so you can see where it's going. Then, as he's blinded and possibly still moving toward you, STEP ASIDE out of the way! Get somewhere else fast, then call 911. 8 hope this helps those who were left in the dark about how it was supposed to work. This pearticar model, thr'Runner', is aimed at joggers and folks who want something that will fit in a pocket while walking in a parking lot for quick access. Just remember, it does you no good in the bottom of a purse. It is a high quality product built for high speed action into defense mode. It's designed not to leak after usage. I'm not 100% confident of its lock mode, since the actuating tab merely needs to be flicked to the right to unkilock it. If carried in a pocket, the tab could easily be pushed into armed mode accidentally, resulting in accidental discharge in a pocket or during retrieval from the pocket. I believe if 5he manufacturer put a small lip on the lock detent to hold it more securely, it would make this a 100% better product. It's already a great product and I recommend it to anyone who needs that extra bit security. It's what you need before escalating to deadly to force if you carry a gun.

ずっとこのメ−カ-のものをかってますが、新バ−ジョンでしようか、ブラスチックの外装外してゴムの握り手をつけただけですが、この方がコンパクトだしカバンの収まりもいいとおもいます。なにせ使ったことがないので星4です。

思っていたサイズの3分の1サイズでした笑使っていないので緊急時にこのサイズで足りるのかと心配になりますが、まーお守りと思って握りしめて危機に向かいます。
