My first order did not arrive in one piece... Amazon, in their infinite wisdom, stuck this ceramic product into a plastic bag for delivery - with gap - crushed into tiny pieces. The second also arrived in a plastic bag, but someone was on the ball and wrapped the bag tightly around the box. tada! Arrived perfectly! The tea strainer is deep into the cup and the cup itself retains heat so no iced tea in 5 minutes. Love the teal color!

This is my second mug like this. I loved the first one so much, I purchased another in this lovely lilac periwinkle color. The tea strainer is large, which 1) lets the tea expand and 2) makes it easier to clean. The porcelain is high quality, and neither of my mugs have sustained a single scratch in the past year! I think the creators really understand tea. 😁The second mug I ordered had some imperfections on the lid. I contacted the company and asked if they could replace the lid. Unfortunately they didn’t have any spares in stock, but offered me a partial refund instead. I was happy with their earnest efforts to make things right. I will order more of their mugs in the future.

I was searching for a mug that had a lid on it and came across this Swede mug. I was curious about the tea strainer as well because I've bought standalone strainers that rusted or tarnished after only a few uses with immediate cleanings after use. I love having a mug with a lid. If you've never had one it's game changer. Albeit, a small one. The strainer is perfection! The holes are so tiny that nothing gets through. All of my loose leaf teas are finally being used. I've had moments where I left tea leaves overnight and the strainer is still shiny and like new. I've had this for 3 months now. Microwave safe, though it can get a bit hot so I recommend sticking to pouring hot water into the mug. I love the capacity of this mug. If you ever like to make two tea bags worth of tea or you want more than a standard mug of tea cup this is a winner. The Mint Green color is true to the color on the screen (like a true, early 2000s mint). I feel so cute every time I use this mug. My mom steals it for herself a lot so I'm going to need a replacement soon. Ha!
