I switched from Greenies to Nutri Dent 3 years ago. I have never really paid much attention to the dental chews before giving them to my dog. Last night as I grabbed one and noticed something blue within the bone which seemed strange. I carved it out and discovered it was piece of plastic! Perhaps an isolated event, but I would recommend others to take a moment to examine the dentals chews prior to giving them to their dogs.

These are a good alternative to the more expensive greenies from the big box pet stores.

This didn't smell "fresh" or "minty" at all... To me it smelled like cooked shiitake mushrooms... I get that dog treats are supposed to smell and taste good to the dog, but for dental treats that are meant to freshen breath, I think it's fair to expect that it should also smell nice to me, the human who has to live with smelling my dog's breath. I don't know if it's because Amazon has a bad batch or if the product is just like this, but so far all the dental treats I've bought from Amazon tend to smell/feel like they're old and stale from being shelved for too long. This one was just another disappointment to add to the list. *sigh* I'm going to keep looking...

I ordered the Fresh flavor and it was the Fresh flavor bag (Green) but the treats inside we're the Filet Mignon flavor. My dog is allergic to that flavor so I just pissed away my money. The only way to know what is inside is to open the bag and therefore it can not be returned.
