Important info on the manual included...
The manual that comes with the soup cup upon delivery states "To avoid staining or blistering we do not recommend heating foods like tomato-based sauces, beetroot, curries or foods with high fat or high sugar content. Do not use for popping corn".This information is not stated on the product page when purchasing the item, although it really should be. Hopefully this information is helpful to some. I actually purchased this soup cup specifically to use for tomato-based sauces so that was disappointing to read only after it had arrived. I have not used the soup cup yet so I can't speak to that, but I thought people should be made aware of the manual information before purchasing.I've included size comparison images of the soup cup next to a 330ml can. The cup is quite big, but not too big that you couldn't fit it in an average lunch bag. The plastic seems thick and durable, it's not a flimsy plastic that bends or cracks easily.

The sales description does not warn of basic flaws!
I bought two of these specifically to store home-made soup in my freezer. Most of my soup recipes contain tomato, as that's the only vegetable my wife can enjoy. However, there is no warning until you buy the product that:1) when frozen, the material it is made of becomes stiff and brittle. I accidentally dropped one getting it out of the freezer ... the protruding clip holding one of the retaining brackets on the lid just snapped off. It is now useless.2) It is susceptible to staining when used for tomato-based foodstuff. The other one now has an unsightly ring of red staining, which does not come off, even after two rides in the dishwasher. These two problems only arose AFTER the 28-day 'return-if-dissatisfied' window closed. I had a better look at the leaflet that came with the item, which actually does warn of these two problems, but none of this was mentioned before I committed to buy!Amazon, you should warn of these deficiencies in the sales descriptions, so that customers for whom these could be issues are pre-warned.

Stains easily.
This mug is just what I was after. Good price and a secure lid. However, first time I heated soup in the mug, it left a stain around the edge, where the top of the soup reached. The stain does not disappear after normal cleaning (hot water and washing-up liquid) and even resorting to Miltons, failed to remove the stain. The instructions clearly state you should not use a scouring pad to clean the mug so you are left with the unsightly red ring around the blue mug. Next time, I'll buy this mug in red so the mark will not be so noticeable.

Not as described colour wise
The name/link clearly stated ‘Blue’ colour which is why I went ahead and bought it but I’ve been sent a purple one. I assume I can’t return it for a blue one as the actual item type is the same but am very disappointed in this false advertising and wouldn’t have bought it if it hadn’t clearly stated the colour was blue:‘Sistema Microwave Small Soup Mug | Microwave Food Container | 565 ml | BPA-Free | Blue/Clear’

Odd
I really don't like the fact it gets really rough around where the surface of the soup is after microwaving. When washing it up I cannot get the stain out of that rough bit which makes me wonder is that rough bit because tiny particles of plastic are coming off and going into the soup? If that's the case then it can't be very safe to eat.I am now very reluctant to use these at all.
