The filter is for a power intake.

Fit like it should
I bought this specter speed cold air intake from a wholesaler here in Houston for $60. Installed everything like the instructions say too. When I went to get the filter, I knew It wasn’t going to fit because it’s a for a 4” connector. This one is a 6” opening, I’m guessing Spectre Speed put the wrong filter in the packaging. I ordered this one on Amazon, installed it and fits perfect like it should. All specs on this product are as described. Happy with my purchase.

Performs just like K/N but not as expensive
Installed on my 07 5.4l f-150 and it has significant throttle response and about 2-3 mpg. The last one i had lasted about 18 months before the rubberized silcone deteriorated and fell apart. But it may have lasted longer bc i had a power steering pump blow fluid all over it.
