Dudo que sea original
Tengo muchos carretes y es el primero que compro y no me gusta ya que hace ruido al recogerlo y no se recoge con suavidad como debería. Muy mala experiencia. Dejo de confiar en Amazon

Not Happy
I received the reel today. After opening the shipping box the first thing I noticed was that the Daiwa box was not sealed. I thought "oh no." Upon inspecting the reel, everything looked fine until I checked the drag. The handle is bent on one side causing interferance with the drag star. Then, I realized it came from a discount tackle store. Now I wonder what else could be wrong. One other strange note, I did not but this real flat out. It sat in my checkout box for a bit where it kept dropping price until I clicked "purchase." I then thought to buy another. But, when looking at the next reel immediately after the purchase, the price went back up. Anyhow, it's going back.

Buy the Shimano SLX
I was very excited awaiting this reel to arrive. I purchased a Curado DC and an SLX, at the same time I purchased this Daiwa 100. The 100 is the least impressive of the bunch. I don’t like the TWS, and a few other things annoy me. I’m blown away by the Shimano SLX though. And the fact that’s it’s $99.00 makes it the easy choice here. What I am trying to say is, save some money and get the better baitcaster. Daiwa has some work to do in my opinion. I’ll be sticking with Shimano or Lew’s from now on.

Compact, Lightweight, Smooth Retrieve
Just what I was looking for. The T-Wing system produces long casts, and the retrieve is very smooth. Its light weight and small profile matches very well with my Abu Garcia Veritas rod.I was concerned that the narrow V-notch of the T-Wing would not accommodate a braid-to-leader connection knot. And, yes, there is some resistance on retrieval -- noticeable but not an impediment (that would vary depending on the thickness of your connection knot, of course). On my rod it's 65 inches from the tip guide to the front of the reel. So I cut the leader to exactly 65 inches. By the time you tie on the lure, the connection knot stays in front of the reel and never contacts it on cast or retrieve. With some reels the knob between the star drag and the reel body controls the spool tension, i.e., how freely the spool spins during a cast. You would adjust the tension to match the weight of the lure. Not so with this reel. With the Tatula it's called a Zero Adjuster knob and controls the left-right play between the spool and body of the reel. Daiwa suggests a very small amount of play (.2 mm). This may simply be another term for the same thing, but it's something to be aware of.

300+ days a year
I'm on the water fishing. These are excellent little reels. Handle light casting baits and big strong fish easily.
