I've tried big litter boxes, litter boxes with clip on lids, rolling litter boxes, robotic litter boxes ... JUST SAY NO. Here is my 30 years of experience having a cat, this is what you need: this litter box, the litter genie, a litter mat, unscented clay litter (Dr. ELSYES) and your commitment to scoop the box once a day because you love your pet and it's important to them. No need to read on unless you want more detail. Litter boxes: they're gross to clean, they're too small, they're too short, poop and urine get on the lids, drip down the sides, they're hard to carry around. This litter box solves several problems: it has groundbreaking handles! It has a pour spout for easy empty when you need to change the litter! It is large so kitty has plenty of room and doesn't try antics like half standing on the rim while doing the business. It has tall sides so your cat a) doesn't get as much litter everywhere and b) doesn't do the thing where they try to tear off the side of the litter box while trying to cover their waste. The sloping sides just guide your kitty's paw down into the litter where they can still ineffectively cover their waste but with much less noise. It is so easy to clean outside with a hose. About the litter genie: I try to avoid disposable plastics but I have given in on this one. Works just like a diaper genie and it's an outstanding improvement to the cat lover's lifestyle. No more odor and you empty it every so often when it's full. About litter: I have tried every kind of biodegradable litter - wheat, soy, husks, potato pellets, corn - all failed in the long run. Tofukitty was the only bio litter that was great and it's discontinued, so I have made peace with clay. I use Dr. ELYSES Scoop Away Unscented - you don't need that gross heavy grandma perfume invading your whole house because you have the litter genie. It clumps well, not too dusty, and picky cats are okay stepping on it (cats can get sensitive about their paws). UPDATE: my kitty has been using this combo about 6 months. I noticed when I switched to the new litter and kept the box nice and full, kitty started digging in it. Kitty had never attempted to dig before pooping before. After about 2 weeks, kitty suddenly was covering her poo and pee properly as well, for the first time in 10 years. We were so surprised. I realize again unwanted pet behavior is because of owners, not animals. Once I gave her what she needed, everything improved for everyone.

Very happy with this. We replaced our rectangular generic plastic box with this, and it significantly cut down on tracked litter and the amount of litter that she kicks out of the box. It's also much larger than her previous box, and it's much easier to do a full litter change as well. We have been using it for over a month so far, and no issues with handles breaking like others have mentioned. It's thick enough to withstand scratching and I have had no issues at all with scooping with the curved sides. Overall very happy, if this broke, I would buy another.

This litter box is awesome and well worth the money. I have three cats, all different sizes and they can all fit in it comfortably. All three of them choose this litter box over the others, every time. Nothing ever leaks out and the walls are high enough that not much litter gets out, even with three kicking cats. The shape makes it so easy to clean. And the handles!!! The handles make everything easier, moving it when I need to vaccuum, carrying it, cleaning it. It's easy to deep clean too, it washes right up, good as new. One of my cats loves to scatch at the sides and you would never know it, the scratching leaves no marks. It's also great or smaller spaces as it can fit in easier then harder walled boxes. I bought this in 2023, it is now 2026 and it's still as good as it was the first day. I would buy this again when I need one and my cats recommend it to your cats.
