The hummingbirds love 💕 this apparently and I like that I can mix enough for a few feedings instead of dealing with large plastic containers in the fridge. Great idea!!

This is my second time purchasing this bag of hummingbird food, I like that it's simple and easy to make and comes with instructions and makes a good amount and lasts a long time before having to repurchase however this batch I think might be bad, the color the last bag I purchased produced a vibrant red this one is quite purple I've made a few different batches now and it's purple every single time I'm not sure if this is just a quality issue if this is normal or not but the hummingbirds don't seem to like it.

Outstanding bird nectar feed. We have 2 dispensers feeding about 12 hummers at once here in September. The feeders required daily refills as a result of so many. They really like this product and strongly recommend it.

I was having a problem with bees swarming the feeder and chasing the hummingbirds away. I "googled" it for a solution. I read that the bees are attracted to the color red while the birds are attracted by yellow. So I ditched the red nectar for this clear nectar. Low and behold... the birds seem to love this! They stay at the feeder for much longer than usual and drink this nectar with no hesitation. Try this with your birds and see what a difference it makes.

This is my 5th bag this year. No previous issues.Upon opening this bag I could smell it wasn't the same. The best way to explain this smell is a Pixie Stix candy of years ago. It released something that went into my throat and made me cough. Next, I could tell the color was off, it was cloudy. It was in my clear plastic pitcher for less than 10 minutes and it stained it. I dumped it. I'll be apprehensive to buy again next season. (Photos are of freshly made. Bubbles from stirring).

4 [not heaping but full] tablespoons to 1 cup of water is the ratio mine like. i like the colored stuff so it's easier to see if refill is needed. they can't get enough of it.

The contents of the bag appears to be enjoyed by hummingbirds after only one day after hanging the feeder. It is convenient to use the mix—just measure the right amount and add water. And the birds like it.
