Draw Kawaii: Cute Food Paperback – Illustrated, 1 October 2020

This small book is golden. I’m an art teacher and I love introducing “kawaii” to my kids. During the year, for a little while, I’ll get my kawaii books out and the kids love drawing them. They are great confidence boosters when kids think they can’t draw, plus everything has cute faces on it! These are great step by step instructions (although I prefer that there are less steps in this book than others) and can also be used on a day when I need sub plans. There are a lot of kawaii books out there, and I own a lot of them, but I’m very glad I purchased this one. Hope to see more from this artist! This book is great for kids and adults. My second graders and up use this easily. Some are easier than others. If you are looking for a book that takes you through every single mark they make, step by step, you may want to look elsewhere, but I really love fewer steps but more variety. Highly recommend!
