Balaclava Winter Ski Face Mask Breathable Windproof Thermal for Motorcycle Riding Cycling in Cold Weather

Super effective and durable at a low price. Second winter season in Minnesota USA with this balaclava. 61 year old male here. Any time the temps are below 20 degrees Fahrenheit I wear this. I do two dog walks per day regardless of the weather. Keeps my head and neck comfortably warm at all times against cold and wind. This isn’t really for light duty situations - it’s designed for cold weather applications. The panel over your nose and mouth works great, I’m able to breathe easily at all times. The fleece is high quality and the construction is solid. This is an important part of my cold weather gear - I’ve been out in -30 degrees F in this and been very comfortable. I hand wash it in mild detergent once each spring. Great value. I recommend to everyone trying to stay warm in cold temps.

For truly cold weather, this is a must-have. The face cover can be easily pulled down below the chin or lifted up to the eyes. The inherent snugness, however, can make wearing glasses uncomfortable. The breathing vent on the face cover is also not as porous as featured. So, exhaled condensation will still fog up eyewear. Nonetheless, this will definitely keep you warm and insulated, although it's recommended to wear another winter hat underneath the hood.

Easy to breath through, and keeps wind off my face. The beanie part has a hard time staying tight on my head sometimes but other than that it fits good and stays warm.

Good quality, decent weight, and soft. The size is a little on the large side but acceptable.

Wasnt what i was expecting. It worked but didnt work well. It was a loose fit to begin with, allowing the wind to come in through the sides around my face. It barely covered my ears. The mouth/nose area was so loose that my breaths kept fogging up my eyeglasses and the day I needed it, made my lenses freeze. The only positive point was it kept my neck warm.

This kept me nice and toasty at -20° on my tractor removing snow. I also had skin goggles on. It was very windy and I stayed warm.

Thick and warm. Noticeably thicker than other head socks when wearing under a ski helmet (had to adjust helmet strap) but it's warm and good for the cold ski nights. It's pretty big so not for little kids but big hairy adult guy heads.
