Fantastic Little Sweeper
Let me say, “this little sweeper is FANTASTIC!” We have two dogs in our house. We are a very busy home. This little sweeper helps me stay on top of keeping our floors clean. We have tile/wood/laminate throughout the house with area rugs. This little sweeper is able to pick up dog hair, dirt, crumbs, etc with ease. The assembly is super easy, the sweeper is durable and it is compatible for our “multi-floors”.

Fantastic Non-Electric, Low-Sound, Kid/Elder-Friendly, Portable Sweeping Vacuum
'26/2 1st review (after 6 straight months of using 4 days per week in 3rd grade classroom): -- As an elementary school teacher, bought this to spot vacuum my room. As it turned out the 1st week of use, it does such a great job that I had NO need to use the school's electric vacuum. I just have the students take turns pushing this unit around the room. -- Re cleaning power & debris removal: The "sweeper" name is deceptive, as the short-hair, beater brush DOES "vacuum" debris into a compartment (vs. just sweeping it into a pile that then requires a dust pan and bending over). It does a FABULOUS job picking up small items (paper clips, beads, Legos, paper bits, etc.) as well as pebbly stuff/hair off the floor! Even the 1st & 2nd grade teachers ask to borrow it when an entire tin of bobbles gets accidentally dumped over; as then, they can empty the unit into a pan where they can retrieve the bobbles (something that'd be lost to a large bag/canister vacuum). -- The five piece unit arrived in a small, square box. I love the fact it EASILY assembles AND compacts (again, something the 7+ years-olds can navigate putting together AND taking apart). The metal handle comes in 4 easy to screw together pieces which as easily screws into the main unit. This allow the vacuum to break down into 3 pieces which I store in my tall, metal, locking file cabinet over the weekends/breaks. While the handle can loosen, it's NO big deal to just give it a few turns at the beginning and end of use to have it ready to go for the next use. -- The kids can also easily navigate emptying the unit into the trash can--two metal flaps on bottom of unit push in to expose holding area that simply dumps out when turned over. This debris storage compartment area is large enough that I only empty it once per week (after use daily in my classroom). -- For industrial carpet (schools, churches, restaurants, garages, etc.), fabulous performance get out if it. No electricity/plug-in/charging needed. And, 7+ year-olds can safely (even eagerly, happily) operate. It seems like it would work on low-pile carpets/area rugs and hard floors, too; but, I have not had the need so far. -- It also comes with a "wet" pickup (plastic squeegee strip) beater bar replacement as well. The directions say it's to clean up spills on hard floors. I have yet to run across a need to use it, as our school has a janitor who shows up with a big mop. -- Since this unit requires NO electricity, it is VERY quiet (almost white-noise comforting in a way). So, I can see it having the potential to be used around setting that require quiet (libraries, high end restaurants, children with sensory processing issues, and pets who go nuts over a vacuum). -- Bought used (small, cosmetic dent in casing) for additional $15 off price. VERY durable (the metal unit has withstood daily elementary school children use--not only in my class, but borrowed by several other classes throughout the day). Very lightweight, so even an elder can safely navigate use. -- Very pleased!! I highly recommend IF you have this type of niche debris removal, quiet, non-electric, elder/child-operation safety and/or pet neurosis needs, then this is the vacuum for you.

Not the same product that grandma had.
First impression when opening the box: "Holy moly... its tiny" This is not the same product my grandma used to have. The one she had was easily twice the size and much better made. That being said, it does work, albeit not as well as grandma's did. But, Ive tried several other cheaper sweepers, and it does work better than all the others that I have tried. One thing that I do not like about this one, is that you must empty it every time after using. The bins have small gaps along the edges, and if you just use it quick to sweep up a small mess and then flip it sideways to store it again, the small particles will fall out of the side of the bin onto the floor again. Its not a dealbreaker, but just know you'll have to take the extra moment to quickly empty it into the bin after each use. Thats the reason for the deduction of a star. It really does pick up quite a lot, even from a floor that seems clean at a glance. If you have long hair, be prepared to pop out the brush (very easy to do, ots just clipped in) and use the included brush cleaner comb to clean off the bristles regularly, because it will pick up every strand of hair and they will be wrapped around the brush. This isnt really a fault, though, because this happens with a regular vaccume as well, and it means the product is doing what it should and removing all the hair. $80, though? Eh. In all honesty, that is too expensive... But for this particulat product, i get it. You have to take into account that it's a small family owned company and its made in the US, and that is the reason for the high price tag. I got this one used on amazon for $50, and im glad thats all I paid. I feel that is more of a fair price for it, considering its all metal and solid construction.

Best Little Carpet Sweeper
Really happy with this little sweeper. I recently adopted a hairy little dog and needed to vacuum my oriental rugs a lot more often. My Dyson was damaging the rugs with its beater bar, so I thought I’d have to buy a large, expensive vacuum just for these rugs. This carpet sweeper works just great, saved me 100s of dollars, doesn’t damage my rugs, and I’m amazed at how much dog hair it picks up. I also like that the housing is metal and not cheap plastic, and it comes with a 3 year warranty.

Easy, Compact Sweeper
I am so pleased with the quality of the Fuller Brush Sweeper. It has a nice solid feel. I did my research and this brand was listed as the ’best of the best’ in a review by a leading newspaper. I’ve never had a carpet sweeper before and can’t believe I went this long without one.

Broom dust pan replacement. Suprisingly better on floors than carpet.
Lightweight, efficient, compact. Simple directions for easy quick assembly although when the three part handle is properly threaded together it is a short and non height adjustable flimsy feature. With light to moderate force used to push the sweeper back and forth this handle is much too easily bendable and the threading constantly loosens while operating sweeper. I am "happy enough" with the light sweeping job it does picking up dust dirt pet hair food crumbs from my vinyl kitchen floor and hard wood, replacing my need for a broom and dust pan which is definitely more time consuming and takes more effort to get a very similar (not as efficient) effect. Would i purchase again? No. I feel i could have saved half the money i spent on a very similar lesser known company's sweeper that seems like the knock off version sold here on amazon and it would have been just as effective. It may not last as long with wear and tear but the fuller sweeper is not the strong sturdy product i hoped it would be. Its a bit clumsy. The dust pans are easy to open and empty into trash when done. The brush cleaner /plastic rake convienently clips on the sweeper handle to use as needed and is an effective upkeep necessity as i can see the brush being (obviously) less effective if not maintained. Easy to pop the brush roll in and out to clean or to switch with included rubber rotor but i havent used it with the rubber roller yet. Im not certain what its for it may do a better job on solid floors but i wouldnt attempt to pick up anything wet. Wet must mean soggy cereal or food under high chair type messes. I couldnt imagine attempting to empty and clean that. Another thing i must add is that i assumed i had a low pile carpet (throw rug) in my living room ( 2.5" thick). Apparrntly that is NOT LOW PILE . THIS SWEEPER IS EXTREMELY HARD TO MOVE ON MY CARPET and when i tried it out on a large but very thin cotton polyester door mat by my front door it was incredibly hard to push in either direction and one of the trays underneath popped open letting out all the dirt previously collected from the floor. I would reccommend this if youre looking for a compact easily accessible broom and dust pan replacement. Especially for floors or very thin carpet. small house, condo, or apartment that would be easier to quick sweep with one of these sweepers if you have predominantly hard flooring. Its a "good enough" product for my floors before microfiber dusting and mopping and for quick cleanup of any thing i dont want my 9month old twins picking up and putting in their mouths as they are now crawling. Its quick and its easy but in no way is it a vaccuum or mop replacement or better in my opinion than a knock off might be.

Small, works great, little expensive
It’s small! So I did not read that it was 9”. Super tiny. I got this so we have something I can use when everyone is sleeping for touch ups. Which I’ll still use, but we’re setting this up for our 18 month old to use as a toy 🤣 The picture of the pick up is after I already vacuumed the rug so it got sooo much up. Great for touch ups and under furniture. Great as an actual toy vacuum for kids For $80??? That’s where we go down a star

It really picks up a lot of dirt and hair.
The Fuller Brush 17042 Electrostatic is a mighty clean up tool. I did my homework and read many other reviews. I’m pleased to say this roller Brush does its job. My cordless vacuum cleaner was not picking up hair or much else after several years. And this sweeper not only picks up hair, but dust bunnies, sand, grit all the stuff found on floors and carpets. It is environmentally friendly. Old school! I agree with others who lament that this is a tad small cleaning device. I do wish the base was just a an inch or two wider. On the other hand I have a tiny condo and it does a really good job. My second minor complaint is that cleaning it out is not that much fun. It’s a little awkward trying to clean the underside after dumping out all the debris from carpet into garbage. There is a nifty little comb tool (solid metal) that you can manually remove hair from the brush. I do this every time after a good cleaning. I highly recommend this sweeper for its sturdiness, and ability to store a lot of dirt. This is a keeper, great value for money well spent.

Small and effective
Solid and well made. I have used other brands and they come up short on quality, effectiveness and easy to use. Continues to look new and function smoothly after many months of daily use.

great quality and design
works great. And it looks elegant, beautiful enough for me to keep in the corner of the living room instead hide in some corner.

Smaller than expected
This works well. We had one as a kid and I remember them being bigger. That said, this does the job. Good for picking up dog hair. And easier for a quick clean up instead of pulling out the vacuum cleaner.

Wanted a quick clean
Puts together very easily, really does a super job, especially for the cat hair, picks it all up. Very sturdy, so glad I bought this.
