I like this fan - Good Quality & Attractive Design.
I bought the oil-rubbed bronze fan. I wanted something that wasn't a distracting eyesore. This fan didn't disappoint. The design is simple, unobtrusive, & attractive. Its simple lines fit perfectly well in modern style homes as well as w- traditional, industrial, transitional, & farmhouse style decor. I've read on some of the reviews that the blades were made of plastic. I can't speak about the other versions, but that is not the case w- the bronze version. The blades are made of a lightweight metal. - The fan has 4 different speeds, stays quiet on each speed, & moves the air extremely well. I usually keep it on the lowest speed. You can control the speed from the wall switch, so there is no need to worry about reaching for those pesky cords to switch the speeds or looking at ugly cords & cord extensions. - I have a low ceiling (8 ft) so I needed to make sure that the fan didn't hang too low. This ceiling fan is not a flush mount fan; however; it comes w- a short downrod that is well suited for low ceilings. Plus, the fan takes up less visual space than a flush mount would. - Like most fans, it has a switch to reverse the spin direction. Just flip the switch. All in all - It's a really nice fan.

Really Nice Fan
We purchased the Oil Rubbed Bronze version of this fan and it looks great. We have a bright white ceiling and the contrast is very nice looking. It was easy to install which was a bonus because I had to use 12' scaffolding to do so. I have 17 foot ceilings so I went with the 24" downrod which is a perfect length. The switch the fan comes with has 4 speed settings; 1 being the fastest and 4 being the slowest. I thought that was weird but not a deal breaker by any means. Setting 1, (highest speed) moves a lot of air and does make a little noise but that's to be expected given the amount of air it moves. Setting 4 (lowest speed) is perfect if you just want to keep the air moving. With ambient noise you can't even hear the fan at this speed. All in all, this is a great fan thus far and provided nothing malfunctions or starts rattling, we will remain satisfied customers. If anything should change, I will be sure to update my review.

Great fan that we actually enjoy looking at
We already had this fan in our home and purchased a second one for a newly finished bedroom. We love this fan! Even on the highest speed it is extremely balanced and has no rocking motion or noise. Assembly and install were straightforward. The wall control switch always seems backwards to me, 4 is low and 1 is high. One comment - somewhere on the item description I thought this fan came with a 3.5" and 6" downrod but only a 6" is included. However, 3.5" would probably not work with this fan since it is very low profile to begin with. Love the more modern look and the price is great.

Good Fan, Minor Finish Issue, Counter-Intuitive Switch
This is a very simple and elegant fan (in silver), that is virtually inaudible and lower speeds, and at higher speeds it is more the sound of the air than the internal motor you would hear. I had no need for lights, and only needed the fan, so this model was perfect. In addition to the fan, I purchased: - 24" down-rod (nearly perfect color match) - Sloped ceiling kit for slopes to 45 degrees. The fan's instructions state that it can be mounted up to a 22 degree slope. As my ceiling is 35 degrees, I ordered the additional kit to be safe. Install was performed by an electrician and it took 2.5 hours from unpack until clean up and leave. So why not 5 stars? Because: - the circular trim in the center of the fan has minor indentations around the edge and and in some other spots. I noticed this after the electrician was gone, and I saw him work, so I know it was not damaged during the install. I was not about the call him back and go through the trouble of repackaging and sending the unit back, reschedule another instal, etc. You can almost make out the darker spot in the picture with finger pointing at the approximate spot of the dimples. - The remote has its highest speed at 1, and lowest at 4. I find that counterintuitive. We thought perhaps this was caused by the polarity of the wiring, and we reversed them, but still, 1 was fast, and 4 slow. - Air movement is best just under the fan, with a fairly narrow sweet spot. Overall, I am happy with the purchase so far, and will revise the rating if my experience changes.

Constant Clicking Sound - Return if You Think It's Going to Go Away
If you buy this fan and it makes a clicking sound do not listen to other comments online that tell you it needs to break in for 24 hours or longer before any odd sounds will stop. I made the mistake of ditching the box even though it was clicking because I stupidly assumed the clicking would go away after the "break in" period, but we've now had it installed for a couple of weeks and I've left it running each day hoping the "break in period" is just longer for this particular fan, but the pronounced clicking is still there. Every single time it makes a revolution it clicks and the sound appears to be coming from the motor. I'm even tempted to buy it again from a more reputable seller because it looks really great or for the moments when it doesn't click it's very nice. Anyway, buyer beware. Keep the box and return it if it clicks.

Minimalist, Modern
I don’t like ceiling fans, at least not the traditional ones with glass flower trumpets holding the light bulbs and large, paddle-sized fan blades. They can be a huge, negative distraction in a room. That’s why this fan’s minimalist, modern design appealed so much to me. It’s a large fan that looks great on a vaulted ceiling with an appropriate-sized down rod. An electrician installed it, and we didn’t experience any excessive motor noise or wobbling at any of the speeds. It also moved enough air to create a breeze so that we could leave the air conditioner at a higher setting and still be comfortable. There may be more functional fans that are better at cooling a room, but I didn’t really concentrate on that aspect of it because it was love at first sight.

Very nice modern looking fan. I ordered two for our covered porch. Each came with a wall speed control switch, that was a nice touch. A great fan for a very decent price!

looks awesome, moves a really good amount of air but after a year it makes a little squeak once in a while, wouldn't be a big deal but being in the bedroom it can be a little annoying at night.
