Stant OE Type Thermostat, stainless steel

It's a Stant product. What else is there to say. I have never had a problem with the Stant quality or service. Couple that with the Amazon pricing and return policy and you've got a winning combination.

Fits my 2001 Honda Civic perfectly. Also bought the Victor Reinz MAHLE Original C31849 Engine Coolant Thermostat Gasket. Took 10 minutes to change but be sure to "burp" the system afterward to remove the air from the system. Put it in a month ago with no problems so far.

I realize that the original thermostat must have been failing, but this 192 degree one has made the heat on this 28 year old Accord perfect for this winter so far. I suspect the heating system (core) may not be as efficient as it was when it was new, but the added 12 degrees seems to have made up for any restrictions.

Picked this up for my b20v build. Fits perfectly. Will give an update when I get the motor running. Also giving it 4/5 stars because the gasket isn’t included.Update: Was attempting to bleed my cooling system for a couple hours and the thermostat wouldn’t open. Switched back to my old thermostat and it opened up no problem. I’d suggest passing on this brand.

Swapped a engine on my civic with a OE stat. Big mistake if you live in Minnesota. The 195 is the way to go if you like heat.

My old thermostat was stuck open, so my car could never heat up in the winter, temp gauge was always on C. This fixed that issue. Heater is nice and toasty now. Car runs a consistent 195-200 degrees now all the time. Great value, great performance.
