Great retention
I had the misfortune to take a pretty bad fall down a very steep hill and the only thing that stayed on my belt was my holster and sidearm,In terms of comfort it’s about average for the belt loops but with the paddle/pancake it’s incredibly comfortable

Pistol release
I found the pistol release very easy to adjust to, it perhaps would not quallify for rapid pull [ quick draw ] but the lock is a nice safety feature preventing the pistol from falling out of holster unexpectdly. great holster
This is the second Blackhawk holster I've owned, one for a Glock 42 and the other for a Glock 17. The pistol is well secured and the holster completely covers the trigger guard so there's no chance of an accidental discharge. It's a great holster and I recommend it highly.

Very good. When you first use it, very hard to slide in and out but a couple of times pulls out perfectly

This holster is light weight, keeps the weapon secure, and makes withdrawal quick and safe. It also sells for less than many holsters which are no better, or in some cases offer fewer features.

Doesn’t fit Glock 22 Gen 5
Very disappointed to find that it doesn’t work with Glock 22 gen 5. The description did not say anything about that when I ordered it. I checked the Blackhawk website and over a year later they still don’t have a CQC that fits gen 5.

Good positive retention intuitive design smooth in out action.
This product is excellent. It offers good positive retention, intuitive design allows for quick, smooth draw. I have used Blackhawk for many years and have never had an issue with their products. If you’re going to throw it in a bag with the rest of your gear I recommend you reinsert the spacers that come with the holsters to keep the mouth from getting malformed.
