Worked really well. Its a good buy. The only problem was its a bit hard to clean the hidden blade.

only good for the smaller frozen bagels. we buy the fresh bakery bagels which are larger. they didn't fit in it at all. I had bought 2 one for us and one for my son and had to return both after this disappointing discovery. Wish there had been a better description of which size bagels it actually could hold. It's a shame because this was a great price.

It works nicely but if you purchase bakery fresh bagels you may have an issue with size. Even those larger bagels still get cut with precision.

After cutting my finger every time I tried to cut a bagel, I decided to solve the problem and bought this bagel cutter. Works great and I now longer dread cutting bagets.

Great bagel slicer fits all my bagel needs

This is a restaurant / cafe sized bagel slicer. Would recommend this for any cafe shop owner that serves a lot of bagels in a day & has staff that aren't that good with a knife / for safety.Works great on bagels that are fresh & room temp or cold (but not hot out of oven). Had no challenges with bagel fitting in slicer.The bagel slicer has a straight blade that is drawn through the bagel by pulling a lever. However this technique of slicing can cause a bit of crushing or rip soft, fresh or warm bagels.If you toaster-oven thaw (or nuke - which you shouldn't) a frozen bagel & then try to slice it, the bagel ends up a bit crushed and ripped. The same would happen using a knife if you pulled the blade straight through and did not saw back and fourth.It's a large kitchen gadget, plan on making room for it in a cupboard.
