Didn't have the brush button like dyson original that came with vacuum

I blame myself for not paying particular attention to the picture but I will tell others: do note that, although this claims to be OEM, it is NOT the same as the original DC 39 Handle. It lacks the push button to dis-engage the revolving brush on the cleaning head from turning. Look carefully at the picture and compare. You'll see the difference at the bottom of the finger-pull mechanism where it goes into the main body of the wand. The description should state the difference because someone else waving a comment mentioned the same thing. I'm going to try to return mine but, as of right now, I'm not sure where because I had several items delivered together.

Not correct OEM item number for DC-39 series. Correct item number is 923081-01. The wand sold does not have the additional top button control. It had limited functionality on my DC-39 animal. The triggerhead stopped spinning several times. Pulling and releasing the trigger on on handle did not restart the spinning brush most of the time. This item may be acceptable for other Dyson models. please verify with the dyson website for you handle item number before ordering this.

Replacement part, works just like the original.

Thank goodness one can order replacement parts these days. This worked great. Did not need to replace entire vacuum.
