An excellent item! My cat has slept on this constantly since it arrived!
We have a very elderly cat who isn't exactly ill but it just old and frail. He sleeps on this mat (with a blanket on top) allllll the time. Since it arrived he has relaxed and is comfortable for the first time in ages. I would strongly recommend it you have an old cat. This also means we can switch the heating off at night or when we are at work and our cat is still warm, relaxed and comfortable. Because you put your own blanket on top this also means it can match you taste - most pet beds seem to be basic patterns and ugly. We have a nice picnic blanket on top!

failed after 6 months
I am the proud parent to 2 Sphynx darlings so you can imagine a nice place to cuddle up is pretty important.The mat has worked well for 6 months and was there go to place over the day. Today i noticed both were not using it so on checking it was stone cold! Will not buy again which is a shame as the temp was perfect

My old, arthritic cat really enjoyed this heating mat during our cold, northern winters. This mat provided just the right amount of warmth and it fit comfortably in his cat bed. I think the mat size suits cats and small to medium sized dogs. For large and giant breeds you might need to purchase two mats. I highly recommend this product.
