Potassium is needed if your blood tests consistently slow low potassium in your blood screen Sometimes high blood pressure medicine or statins can bring your potassium down, so potassium levels need to be watched. This is one of those supplements that you should discuss with your physician before taking. I prefer TWINLAB to other brands, since it is evident that the potency and high quality is reliably consistent.

These seem to be a good quality supplement. It's only 3% of your daily recommended amount, so I don't know how helpful it is. It doesn't seem like any other brand has a more potent option. I've been taking one every day for a few months and they do what I need them to. They are clear capsules, consistent, well made. I don't have a way to chemically test them for potency and purity. I'll leave that up to someone else.

Given the potassium RDA (4700mg/day for an adult male), you can see yourself popping a lot of capsules on a daily basis.The product is fine but I wish the dosage was closer to 500mg of elemental potassium/cap rather than 100mg.

This over the counter supplement is not a high dose version. That is why it is a good choice. Twinlab makes good reliable stuff. For a daily or occasional supplement it is great. Better than bananas or fruit because it has no calories or sugar, although it does not have the micronutrients those do. I like it. Recommended.

Have only been taking this potassium supplement for a few days, but it seems to be a good value. I will update this in the future if I notice any negatives in regard to the product.

Potassium citrate is more alkaline that the others (which is better for you) and so we started using this one. Great price. We use it to prevent cramps, which my wife often gets at night in her legs. This is great stuff, and does what it should. Take 3-4 a day.
