Boris Ate A Thesaurus

My second grade students really enjoyed this book. The synonyms that are introduced in this book are excellent!

This is such a funny book and good to demonstrate synonyms.

This is such a clever book! I love that it introduces kids to new words and the overarching concept that there are so many words they can choose to express themselves. One of those books you can enjoy because the story is entertaining and feel good about because it's teaching a really mind-opening lesson.

Great for teaching synonyms

Great book for explaining the Thesaurus to students. I'm an elementary librarian and use this book to explain what a Thesaurus is and does. Since they are on the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade test.

I am in college to become a teacher, and my first interaction with this book was when I was in a classroom observing. This book is great when you are trying to introduce synonyms to children. It is a fun way for students to learn and they also enjoy it and find it very amusing.

As a speech-language pathologist, I can't believe I didn't have this book on my library! The kids LOVE it. It is great for all grades, to introduce synonyms....the extension activities are endless.
