We haven’t set up yet, gift for grandchild, they will open Christmas Day....so sorry I can’t answer question

Can I buy just remote?

The remote comes with the dinosaur, but if you have the dinosaur and the remote breaks ,I should think the company would send you one or you could purchase a remote through the company. Good Luck .

My dinosaur is missing the arm?

I had a problem with the dinosaur I ordered, the motor burnt after one day. Contacted Joyin company and they sent me new dinosaur within a week. Very well satisfied with the company.

Good for the price. Works perfectly. Big enough to impress kids and funny. Made my kid very happy. Comes without batteries though and needs 5 AA between Dino and remote
