Did not damage my embroidery or any of the various fabrics I sprayed
I've been doing fun things with embroidered patches on boots and jeans, and since I'll likely be wearing them to work I wanted to protect them. I'm a barista and when it gets busy, spills happen and coffee stains. So I got this. I read many of the other reviews, including one that said this stuff ruined an embroidery project, in the picture it looks like her stuff melted. But I noticed that was the only review that said that. No one else complained about ruined embroidery, so I took a chance and ordered this. To be further safe, I did a test run on a small bit of the embroidered patch that I didn't use. Nothing happened. This spray did not ruin anything, even in the slightest. So I set about lightly spraying my boots. Then I went a little Scotchgard crazy and sprayed just about all of my boots, from Uggs to Bearpaws (both suede and knitted versions) to faux suede to canvas to... yeah, I've got a lot of boots. In my defense, some of them I've had for over 10 yrs, I just took good care of them, although... I hadn't Scotchgarded them till now. But hey, I'm sure they'll last me another 10 yrs or more since they're Scotchgarded. šAll in all, this did not ruin my embroidered patches in silk and polyester thread, nor did it adversely affect any of my boots in various fabrics: satin, silk, crushed velvet, canvas, heavy felt, felted flannel, faux suede, real suede. I did not use this on my leather boots, and on the pair that are leather on the bottom and flannel felt up top I was careful to cover the leather part completely. I sprayed over 10 pairs of shoes and still have a lot left in the can. All of my pictures were taken after using this on my various shoes. The last picture is of the boots that are real leather on the bottom, so I used painter's tape and newspaper to completely cover the leather and only sprayed the felted flannel on top.I'd have no problem recommending this product for your fabric crafts, or shoes of a wide variety. If you are even a smidge concerned, a quick test spray on either a scrap or hidden area is always a smart idea. There's nothing wrong with being cautious.

WORKS LIKE BRAND NEW-USE EARLY!!
The simplicity of use was a plus! You can use with confidence, I just purchased an ā¬1800+ bag from Paris and wanted to protect the inside canvas from stains and markings, thus depreciating the value of the bag. After testing a small portion for colorfastness, I sprayed the entire inside of the tote and let it dry overnight. No discoloring, looked brandnew (if course it was), then I filled it with my day to day ājunkā. Since then I traveled to Tokyo and back, as you can imagine the wear and beating the bag took. When I got home there were dirty spots, pencil marks ect, and with the help of a mild face wipe I was able to gently rub away all the dirt and spots from inside my tote and by the next morning it looked good as new!!

Good product
Has been applied and still waiting for spots to appear after two weeks, has upheld what it is supposed to do

Stitchery Protection
Used it to protect a needlepoint project before framing it and also on a counted cross stitch that was inserted to a tote bag. Very easy to use and it seems to be working, at least at this point.

Good stuff but stinky
Iāve used this on some of my macramĆ© products Iāve made. I feel like it really does help keep the stains away for a period of time. Just make sure you spray it outside. The smell can be pretty strong.
