How much batter goes in each mini loaf?

I use the full recipe for a banana bread/zucchini bread and divide it up in the eight mini loaves.

do these pans rust after a while?

I have been using it since I received it and no rust. Very good pan

Are the loafs strait sided or are they smaller on the bottom than the top?

The pans are definitely not straight sided. The bottoms are clearly smaller than the tops.

Would you guys say this is a good size to hand out small holiday loafs of bread (coworkers, family...)? Trying to determine if they are too small. :)

They are pretty small. I was guessing they are about the size of 2 standard sized muffins. I just made banana bread loaves and muffins. I weighed one mini loaf and it was 3⅞ oz. Then I weighed 2 muffins together... 3⅞ oz! Wow! I guessed exactly right! For a gift, if you would give more than 2 muffins worth, then I think these mini loaves are too small.
