Golden Rose Make-Up Primer Mattifying & Pore Minimizing, 1.01 Fluid Ounce

I originally bought this primer because I wanted to save my "Good Stuff" for when I went out, but I use this primer all the time and for all occasions! I love it, it really holds my makeup in place and weather I use my "good Stuff" (urban decay, tarte, etc...) or regular day to day makeup (L.A. Girl, loreal, avon etc.., my makeup stays put! I have a very oily T-Zone so this is hard to accomplish but it works, my make up looks even and I blot maybe once a day, my purse is lighter since I now leave my touchup bag at home, EVEN on a date night!

This primer makes my skin feel like DOLL SKIN!!!! It's kind of freaky, but provides a very, very smooth base for makeup. I wear it without makeup sometimes and I do feel that it mattifies and smoothes it, though it's no miracle for my shiny summer face after a few hours. I'm not acne prone at all (just red and shiny) this didn't cause me to break out. Has a slight smell, but its not bad or lingering. Compared to my last primer- the Benefit POREfessional matte rescue primer it is much heavier, but honestly I think it works better for pore reduction & oil control.

I have found the holy grail. My skin feels amazing even not using makeup over this. Careful, if you mess up your contour or anything, this FIXES it VERY well. So little room for error but good! I needed a reliable primer. Love the smell of the product too. I have matte lipstick from this Turkish brand as well and they just seem like a really reliable but affordable brand. Love it.

I have an oily t-zone and while the primer is mattifying and pore minimizing when first applied, it doesn't last too long for me. I can put it on in the morning and by the time I get to work maybe 2 hours later, oil is already peaking through. It smells amazing though!!

It was alright. I didn't feel it extended the wear of my makeup like Ultas did. I also feel that it is very heavy compared to a clear makeup primer. It also never Controlled the oil on my face or helped my pores all that much.

Feels like and smooth with applied, the matte finish could have been better. It has very little to no smell.

Smooth, no greasy feel but also not dry out skin.

This product is amazing!!! It keeps me matte ALL DAY LONG. I find myself reaching for this product and mixing it with my Wet N Wild Photo Finish Primer. They work so well together!!!
