Extremely happy. I got the goods
The scrabble came well packed. All six blocks were in perfect order. And? Honestly this package showed up not only before I expected it to, but when i needed it most.I grew up eating scrabble, but have been in Indiana or other states where you can’t get it. I’m beyond excited to cook it up before going to work tonight. To get that familiar flavor. With how my mother in the hospital, this is a needed distraction.

Took a chance.....very glad I did!
It's the end of summer in Southern California and I just really missed scrapple. I have made it at home many times, but it's a lot of work and I just wasn't in the mood. NO ONE carries it here in SoCal so I checked Amazon....and voila! The company had a very good track record and the reviews of the product were good so I took a chance and ordered. They do delay shipping two or three days and then when I got the shipping notice the window was REALLY long, but I had taken a chance, so, I waited. Instead of weeks it was here in just a couple of days, mostly frozen, and what wasn't frozen was very cold, so no problems. To those who found it crumbly, if you allow the brick of scrapple to TOTALLY defrost in the fridge for a couple of days and then cut it 1/2" thick using a very sharp knife and a gentle sawing motion the problem seems to disappear. Then coat it thoroughly with flour ( self rising is what my family has always used and it gets a very crunchy crust), allow it to rest after coating for about 15 minutes, then fry in hot fat ( duck fat is best, but real lard or rapeseed oil work just fine), drain fully on paper towels, top with an easy over fried fresh egg and dark real maple syrup....perfect! Really an American classic....well worth the chance.

Can’t buy scrapple in your area?
My sister and brother-in-law moved to Wisconsin over 10 years ago and all I ever hear is how much they love scrapple but can’t buy it out there. So this Christmas I decided the 1 present that would mean the most to them is if I could find a way to send scrapple so to the internet I went and with very little effort I found it claiming it would arrive fresh, well they delivered, I did let my sister know that she needed to open her gift immediately when it arrived, I wish someone had videoed it, the box was marked Habbersett Scrapple all she kept screaming was SCRAPPLE SCRAPPLE SCRAPPLE her husband said maybe she just used the box and put something else in my sister replied with the meanest looked “she wouldn’t do that to me”. So if you want to give the best scrapple to someone who can’t buy it and arrive exactly as they claim then I highly recommend MeadowHill Farms

Greetings to People (who used to be) In Philadelphia
I pretty sure that you are from Philly if you are reading this. We all LOVE Scrapple, and we particularly LOVE Habbersetts Scrapple! This product arrived in Southern California perfectly. It was still cold from a cold pack that was in the package. The taste was/is as I remember it: Perfect. I bought 6 pounds, and have currently frozen 5. I have had success in freezing in the past, but don't push it. Finish this within 9-12 months, any longer would probably be problematic.5 Stars on everything except the price. But, I have to consider the logistics of delivering a product that must be kept cold to anywhere in the USA. When I consider this, along with a not so high demand for the product, and I guess the price is right...I just wish it was as is when bought in Philly (which will never happen out here is Cali)

I placed my order with you and am very satisfied. I will order again in the future. Thanks, Joe Janisheck, PhD, Ret Army.
