How do I get the iRig to record stereo on my iPhone video?

iRig is a xlr or 1/4 one channel input. Stereo needs two channels

Do you use internal battery or do you use batteries? can the battery be charged?

This unit uses 2X AA batteries or the iRig PSU3a for iOS use. On Mac/PC the unit it USB powered. Rechargeable AA batteries will work with this unit.

Do you need the Amplitude app for any of the iRigs to actually work? Or can you anything?

AmpliTube is not required. Any app or software which allows a digital audio device to be used will work great. For example, we have various other apps like iRig Recorder 3, VocaLive for iPhone/iPad, and third party apps like GarageBand, Cubasis, and others work very well.

Is this a universal / plug and play device or does it require specific software (IK Multimedia) to work?
