I’ve been pleasantly surprised by these Remington Compact Ceramic Dual Voltage Hot Rollers. They heat up quickly, are easy to use, and give my hair nice volume and soft curls without excessive heat damage. The ceramic rollers help reduce frizz and leave my hair looking smooth and shiny. I especially like the compact size and dual-voltage feature, which make them perfect for travel. They don’t take up much space in a suitcase, and I can use them internationally without worrying about voltage converters. I like these a lot. I was worried I would dislike the pin style holders but they're not bad. If you're finding them uncomfortable, try re-adjusting them or pinning them in the opposite direction and see if it helps. Sometimes if they're touching your neck or something, the pins and the rollers themselves can be a bit hot, but what are you expecting, putting hot things all around your head? Anyway I find that these heat up fast (10-15 minutes is fine although if I have time I'll do 15-20) they're reliable and hot enough to do a good job. I use them for mostly vintage wave styles. My hair holds the curl great, even into the next day usually. I have very thick, curly long hair so I knew I would need to buy two sets. I think it was still a great value. I like that they're small and travel size. I do travel a lot and even when I don't, I prefer small things that don't take up too much storage space as I live in a small condo in a big city. These are perfect for me. If I lost or broke them somehow I would replace them with the exact same kind.
