Plug and Record/Stream
The setup process is as easy as plugging in the USB and HDMI cables. No splitters or drivers needed. The video quality in recording is as advertised and it does not hurt the output of the original source. Definitely a bargain

Not great but also not terrible
Given that being cheap and doing its' job is what this is designed for, it does that very well. It records in base 1080p just fine but there are some connection issues - at least with the ps5 on my television. I use a slightly older hdtv for my console gaming and the image doesn't show up on that tv if I connect it through this capture card. If I want to get my image on a screen using this card then I have to connect it to my secondary pc monitor instead. Although I'm honestly not sure if the issue is the capture card, my tv or something to do with the ps5 so take that with a grain of salt.

SLOWS DOWN OVER TIME!
Got it a few months back, 1080p 60 FPS streaming no problem, beautiful audio and picture, as time went on the FPS went down, 55 FPS, 50 FPS, 45 FPS, it's now locked at 30 FPS, have yet to find a way to get it back up to 60 FPS, might be something with OBS but I doubt itFor the price it's 100% worth it if you want a cheap way to stream to friends on Discord or Twitch, just keep in mind that as time goes on the FPS will go down, not sure what causes it.

cheap but effective
It's simple to use and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Easy set up but fails in a short time - No Audio/Runs Super HOT
I bought this to record PS5 video to my PC. After 3 days, the sound began to skip and lag behind gameplay. I thought it was due to my OBS settings but after hours and hours of making changes to the OBS settings, i realized it was this capture card causing the issue. I turned off OBS and just tried to run the PS5 through my PC speakers. The delay was about 4 full seconds behind the gameplay. I unhooked the capture card and directly connected my PS5 to the PC without any issue in sound. This device gets super hot and failed within a few days. I would not recommend this product due to my experience thus far. I guess you pay for what you get.

Works
I use this with OBS Studio to capture video from a cable box. Xfinity does not block it. It uses an unusual USB A-to-A cable; it's not a host, so why don't the designers follow the rules? The chips inside have heatsinks so that alleviates a concern I've seen about similar devices that overheat and stop working.

A very good budget capture card, with a catch
This card has amazing value. For just shy of $70 you get full hd 1080p 60 fps footage from any console (even retro ones if you have an hdmi adapter). I notice the colors are ever so slightly more saturated than the actual picture, but close enough that it really shouldn’t matter. The only complaint I have is how hot this thing gets. It won’t give you burns or anything but when it’s doing it’s thing it gets really toasty and I’m not sure how long it will last running this hot, especially if you use it frequently. This is due to no cooling; no fans or heatsinks on any of the internal chips inside. Luckily it’s easy to disassemble so you could slap some low profile raspberry pi heatsinks on the chips inside and put it all back together to get some passive cooling to take care of some of the heat. If one were to take this up I’d recommend checking out Justin Bae’s review on this as he did this and shows which chips he put them on and includes a link to these heatsinks in the description of the review.

Easy to use, affordable but colours limited..
I was excited to find a capture card that was relatively affordable as I'm just stepping into the world of streaming. After doing the research I thought this would be a good option as my first card because of the price and decent reviews. However, the only thing I have going for it is that yes its easy to set up and its a quarter of the price of an elgato. The colours are way off and super VIBRANT, I've tried everything in OBS to fix it, played with filters and I've even gone into my computer settings to try fixing it there but no luck with either method. But if you're looking for something affordable, its a good place to start if you don't mind the colours being off. I however will be upgrading once I am able to.

Easy to use. Does excactly what it states in description. 60hz pass thru only.
Easy to use. Does excactly what it states in description. 1080p or 4k only @60hz. Don't try and pass thru anything at 120hz. Card will not recognize that. Switched back to 60hz and everything worked great. As long as you can setup whatever recording software you use, you'll be good to go making videos or streaming in no time.Great product does the job!!!

Strange audio interference.
The media could not be loaded. Got the item, set it up via OBS and get fairly distracting audio interference. Tried different USB ports, electrical plugs and eventually managed to plug it in via a separate device and still had the interference. Aside from that there is a desync from audio to video.
