Instructions were a little hard to follow
Love the fan but my husband had quite a struggle figuring out the instructions. We found an installation video on YouTube but still had to make a couple of educated guesses about some things. For example, there was an 18" security wire but no mention of it in the instructions or the video. We ended up cutting it off. Once installed, the fan is beautiful and silent. The lights light up our entire living room. We also really appreciated the choice of fan blade colours. We chose the cherry wood side to match our fireplace. I definitely recommend this fan!

Perfect
After my 25 year old fan died, I was going to buy a DC motor type fan. They are supposed to be dead quiet but much more expensive. A friend recommended Hunter but a standard one with an AC motor. Hers is about 20 years old and very quiet. I wanted one with a pull chain because losing (or faulty) the remote means you have no fan control. The only sound at the highest shipped is from the air movement! This fan is noise free.
