To bring this ambitious project to fruition,Don Vicente Fernández worked closely with the renowned producer Benjamín Hidalgo to make all the music from the CD come alive on film. Each video was shot on location at Vicente Fernandez's expansive Three Colts Ranch.During an intense but impeccably planned and executed 48-hour period, all 15 videos for the DVD were recorded. Vicente Fernandez, known as the Cowboy of Huentitan, helped select the locations for filming. Alongside his son, he also prepared all 14 of his illustrious custom-made outfits for this special. With the quality that's made him the icon of Mexican music, along with the talent and style of his namesake son, Don Vicente Fernandez joins Vicente Fernandez, Jr., on a musical adventure through 14 exquisitely crafted songs.On this landmark album, Vicente Fernandez brings his half-century of performing experience to bear on seven grand songs. Chief among them is "Cuando Manda el Corazon" (When The Heart Rules). This is the theme song to the Televisa soap opera Amor Bravío (Fierce Love). In an history-making collaboration, father and son perform together on the landmark duet "Vamos a Cuidarla Mas" (We're Going to Take Care of Her More), where they pay heartfelt tribute to Dona Refugio "Cuquita" Abarca, the wife and mother, respectively, of the two Vicentes. Written specifically for the Fernández family by the great ranchera composer Manuel Eduardo Toscano, this song joins the long list of classics that Toscano has penned for Don Vicente over the years.DVD features:1.
