Seems durable
I connected this to the previous version black buds. Works great, it's a good, strong cable that doesn't get tangled easily. Glad to get more life out of these buds. This cable shows no signs of wear after a few months use. Really durable feeling at the jack, where my last cable wore out.

It Just Works
All buttons work, mic works audio doesn't cut out, which I had with a dongle I used to carry. It's also a slim USB-C, allowing it to easily fit in the USB-C port on the phone with a case on it. Tired of dongle? Buy this. EDIT: Cable broke after seven months, and I only used this on the motorbike. Reduced stars.

Not durable
The first one broke after 90 days. The second one from warranty broke after 6 months. Not recommended - just buy the normal 2.5mm cable and a usb-c dac
