Top quality product
Brabantia bins are by no means the cheapest but they are quality products that look smart in any environment.I bought this to replace the old Brabantia bin I've owned for over 25 years that had started to look a bit tatty. It still works just fine though and I'm now using it in my workshop. This new one is so nice, I've just ordered the 5l version for my bathroom. Also: the sample (size X) bin liners included are a perfect fit and I've just ordered a bunch of those too.

Well worth the money.
Very sturdy kitchen bin. This one was bought for my daughter on the basis that the identical one that I own has outlasted any previous bin by a large margin. The metal inner bin does not crack, warp or generally fall apart at the least provocation and that is a serious advantage. Easy to find liners in any supermarket, easy to clean with a damp cloth.... And (on my older bin) the mechanism for opening the lid is still working after several years. I expect this bin too to be well worth the money.

Very small dent so check the surface carefully !
Since the colour is white it needs to be 100% perfect. After opening the well packaged cardboard box there was a small dent the size of a 1p coin on the side of the lid above the Brabatina sign.At the moment I cannot be bothered to return it since you really cannot notice but if my partner raises an issue when she returns from work tonight it's going back. I've kept the box for the moment and hopefully Brab who delivered it will collect if I request.I suggest you add "No dents please" when you order.Good Luck !

Expensive ,but worth it
I wouldnt normally pay this much but this is a very sturdy bin, soft closing lid and a metal inner bin means its a good weight.comes with a few free bin liners included and a 10 yr guarantee.the metal is pretty solid and should survive the odd kick from the kids.most other metal bins are pretty thin and easily dented, not this one ,though..my dogs a bit miffed at me now though, as he cant get in it.lol

Needs a handle to lift inner bucket.
Bought as a gift and was well received. The only criticism was that it is difficult for an elderly person with arthritis in both hands to change the bin liner as there is no handle to the metal inner bucket to lift it out, so unable to tuck the top of the liner into the outer silver coloured container. The automatic closure was found to be very useful.
