Valio la pena la verdad si vale lo del precio compre brocas normales para taladrar un chasis y pues o se rompian o se sobre calentaban hasta que compre estas no tube que hacer tanto esfuerzo para que taladrara

The main reason I bought these bits was for drilling stainless steel on my boat as the reviews I read on these bits was excellent. Was a little apprehensive on these bits as I had a lot of bad experiences with other bits. Using a drilling lubricant in conjuction with these bits and drilling at a relatively slow speed, I was able to drill through many different items such as stainless hand rails, stainless canopy fittings and stainless rigging fittings. Very happy!

For high-cobalt drill bits, these are one of the better values on the market and do the job well. They hold up nicely in stainless steel, which is mostly what I use them for. As with any serious metal drilling, it's crucial to use a good cutting fluid so the bit doesn't overheat and dull.As with other Dewalt drill sets, the included case is quite high-quality which is a great bonus.

Let me start by saying I have extensive background in manufacturing, milling, machining, and general handy crap around the house.These are great for drilling holes quickly in most materials. They come out of the box really sharp. I think if you're drilling aluminum they would be perfect, although they may be aggressive enough to want to grab. Definitely do not use these to cut brass, or they will grab and ruin your piece, possibly cause you to hurt yourself.I bought these to drill steel, and they worked very well - at first. The problem with these bits, if you're using them for steel, is that they are so aggressive that they will wear out very quickly; maybe even break or chip if you're not careful. The 1/2" bit chipped one of the flutes on the third or fourth hole I drilled. If I'd been using machining lube and a drill press this might not have happened (I was using a battery operated hand drill), but these are not machining bits for machinists, they're handyman jobber bits that should be made robust enough to suit their purpose.Anyway, I love these bits in the right application, but don't expect them to last a lifetime. Especially because once the edge gets chipped, these bits are ground with a "pilot tip" so if you sharpen them, you no longer have the same bit you started with.
