Q: l have mostly hardwood floors but do have 2 large area rugs. will it work on the area rugs also?

I have a Kirby vac, but this is what I use every day for the 6 dogs I have. It’s so quick and easy. I use the Kirby twice a week on my rugs, and this quick vac on all my hard flooring.

Q: I have long, thick hair (Asian girl). Do you think the suction is good enough?

The suction is excellent. I use it mainly for cat hair. You will probably have to open and clean it frequently for long thick hair. But that's not a big deal. I keep it propped up in my toilet room in the master bathroom. It will stand straight up.

Q: The HEPA filter has a piece of fabric wrapped around it and is secured in place with velcro. Is this supposed to be removed?

These filters don’t last very long. I try to tap the dust off to extend the life, but it gets gross after a few tries
