This is NOT a splitter! One headphone, one charger.
I bought this so two of us could listen to the phone at one time. It is absolutely NOT for that. It is for one listener and one charging port. Truthfully, it's useless. If you have an iPhone with the lightning connection then the battery on it should still be good. I highly doubt you'll need to charge and listen at the same time unless you're camping or traveling where there is no electricity. It works for that purpose, only.

Static sound and garbage quality.
Immediately returned, this adapters all have an incredibly highly annoying static sound that starts playing after you start literally any song or video on your phone, avoid this completely unless your willing to waste money.

Complete waste of money
Buzzing, sound distortion. I used it for 2 hours then threw it in the bin. Bought myself a Belkin instead. Honestly do not waste your money on this

My experience after using this product
Useless only for hearing song & Videos but for call it is not suitable.I believe it is not original product form apple as mentioned.

Doesn’t work
It stopped working same day. Sound is not being fully transferred, it is followed by loud back noise
