Excellent Study Guide.
Of all the different study guides I used, I found this one to be the best. I had taken the exam twice and found the information in this guide to be closely related to what is on the exam. My essay question from my first exam was actually one of the study cards. I have not received my grade yet, so maybe I should hold off on the praise for the product :)

Good for a refresher
These cards cover all periods of history in depth. Having taken the MTEL, I find them helpful, but I do not find the test material relevant to the subject matter of the cards. They will help you write a impressive essay, but their multiple choice section goes in a whole different direction.

Not MTEL Test Specific but does offer a lot of information and concepts that will come in handy during the test. However I did find a few errors already in the first sections I completed, some of the historical facts were inaccurate.

lots of material
there are a lot of cards in this set and they have a ton of information on them. they aren't MTEL specific, but cover all the material you need. I used them to study and passed the exam on the first shot, so I would reccomend them

I like the cards but the explanation is more then 1-2 words…does a great job giving a complete answer!

and very easy to study
Thus far, I have not had a chance to fully interact with my flashcards, but I have already noticed how every sub-topic that will be on the history MTEL is available. The flashcards have questions from categories such as economics, geography and political science. I am looking forward to fully using these flashcards and preparing myself for the MTEL. I think that the flashcards will be very helpful, as they are very portable, and very easy to study!

MTEL History Flashcard Study SystemI have just received my Mometrixs flashcards which were shipped in a timely fashion. I came upon Mometrix after having failed my first attempt at taking the test and was looking for some type of guide to better prepare myself for the next exam. I believe the flashcards will save me a lot of time by not not having to search for the information and making my own flash cards, it was worth the money.
