Appears to be much better quality than Tesla original cabin filters this replaced - well made, perfect fit . Came with tool to remove pop fasteners.Excellent you tube videos shows exactly how to fit as DIY job - took 30 mins or so. Definitely no need for dealer install.

Fitted to my Tesla model 3. Not as good as the OEM filter. I can now smell exhaust fumes and other smells that were previously filtered out. The charcoal balls are large with gaps around them and the smells/fumes just pass straight through. Have replaced the filters with Mann FP 25 015 which are way more advanced and much more effective.

About the only service the Tesla needs on a regular basis is replacement of the cabin air filter. On the model 3 this is behind and below the centre counsel. A little tricky to get to from our side as pedals are slightly in the way. Watch a video or two to see how easy it is to access and swap. Only tricky part is replacement of one trip part that requires a fiddly up and over movement to replace. You can do it.

It comes with a trim pry tool and a T20 key, which was helpful. You still need a flat screwdriver to get the trim clips to pop out a bit.Time will tell if these genuinely do improve air quality.

They look good but smell strange inside when you first turn on the air conditioner. Also doesn’t filter much, I still can feel smoke if a diesel car it’s in the front of me

I’ve used Basenor cabin air filters on my Tesla for a couple years and they fit nicely and have a barrier that helps keep condensate from wicking into the filter - the main cause of the “old sock” odor some Teslas are prone to. Best advice, change these every 12 months. Good value!
