Roma GRAZING Muzzle

Had to get this restitched with nylon

This is a good fit on our 11 hand pony. Works well to keep her from over grazing on new spring grass.

Broke within a week

I have a smaller Quarter horse /Paint that wears a small horse size but is too big for Cob size. This Muzzle fits more like a Cob. Definitely too small around the nose. The rest of it is very adjustable. I was hoping to use it as for a back up for my Best Friends muzzle that is wearing out after 2 seasons. This is a cheaper version of the Best Friends. Rubber bottom is thinner, probably good for occasional use. Don't think it would hold up for daily use. Spend the extra money and get the Best Friends version if your horse needs to wear it every day! And Horse size fits my friend's Arab well (that usually wears Cob sizes) Not worth spending the money to return. Will probably list it on Craigslist or something.

It seems to work fine, but as stated in other reviews the smell is really bad. I tried many things to remove the smell with no luck.

I liked the design of this muzzle because it has a clip on the chin strap and relies less on velcro (which is useless when muddy and wet). But the length of the head piece straps is totally inadequate - they are far too short to even reach. My horse has a normal full size head - not extra-full!!! And yet the muzzle is useless given the short straps.
