Lulu's Chocolate Bar, Raw Love, 1 Ounce

This is probably the best introduction to raw chocolate that a person could ask for. It's pricey, but oh-my-god-mouth-gasm good. It's not sickly sweet like your regular old hershey bar, in fact, it's a bit of a stretch to call it dessert at all. It's...well, you open the package, and see a rather small yet glossy single serve portion of dark chocolate. You may or may not feel a little disappointed, since you paid about five bucks for it, and you hope it's worth it. You break a piece off, and hear a nice clear snap. The chocolate has a nice clean edge. Obviously,you've been given high quality chocolate. You stick it in your mouth, and let it melt. You taste a very slight bitterness, though still less than you'd find in regular dark chocolate. A subtle sweetness comes through, along with a nice vanilla burst that doesn't taste like the fake stuff. You can taste the salt, but it doesn't take away from the flavor. The combination of everything makes a chocolate that is less of a dessert and more of an experience. And that makes it more than worth the price I paid for it.

This took my love affair with dark chocolate to a new level. The taste is so unique...earthy, fruity and complex...I think it's mostly because it's sweetened with coconut crystals (no, it doesn't taste like coconut). It's a very "friendly" flavor (likeable by those who have trouble with semi-sweet dark chocolate) but at the same time it really packs a punch! I've gone on their website and purchased variety packs as gifts, I give bars to friends and I even recommended that my local health food store start carrying it. I'm literally excited about this product. Their other flavors are also amazing! Well done, Lulu's!!!

When I ordered, i thought the size/qauntity was going to be so much more for the price....I would never recommend anyone spending this amount of money for a tiny chocolate bar that was not all that great in flavor.

Bar was very small for the price. There is a company in Asheville NC that sells raw chocolate called "Sinless Chocolate" that is much better. Their prices are not cheap but the product is delicious and low carb.

This was a gift for a Vegan friend of mine. She liked it and said it tasted good, but it was very small, maybe 1/3-1/2 the size of a regular Hershey bar for 4x the price. Quality and novelty were great. Size was disappointing.

I randomly saw Lulu's chocolate on Tosca reno's website, and I decided to buy it as a gift for my boyfriend, and he totally loves it, not too sweet, and somehow healthy. And maybe it's my turn to try some more items from Lulu chocolate <3

Got this for my mom who went vegan a few years ago. She said it was one of the best vegan chocolates she's had, and that the key was the coconut sweetener, and that they didn't use cocoa butter for a dairy-like substance.

the package was punctual ,however, the taste was a bit strong. it tastes like pure cacao. Its great if you like that though!!
